Bob Mc Donald and Tim Churchill were both informative, knowledgable and honest when I visited the dealership to decide what car to purchase. When they could not get the car with the options I wanted they knowledgable and honest when I visited the dealership to decide what car to purchase. When they could not get the car with the options I wanted they went out of their way to try all the dealerships within a 100 mile radius to try and get want I wanted. In the end I ordered my car with the options I wanted and waited the 4 months for the car and during that time Bob kept me up dated on progress of where the car was in the build process. Very thorough hand over making it a very good process from start to finish, I very happy with my car choice and the support of Bob and Tim throughout. Great Job guys thank-you. More

On our 33rd wedding anniversary I wanted to buy my wife the car of her dreams, a brand new Porsche. I'd been hearing this since we met in high school, how much she wanted some day to own a Porsche. Friday Sept 27th was our 33rd year anniversary, so living in south OC I drove to a big name dealership in the OC to shop for a 2014 Cayman S. After wondering around that dealer for about 20 minutes, I finally went inside to speak with a sales person about the black Cayman S on their lot. The sales person seemed preoccupied answering text messages-I've had less painful root canals then what it took for him to go get the key and open up the car. Trying to test drive it required completing a credit application and him asking me a bunch of personal questions. I asked what their best deal would be on the car referring to price and terms. "Sticker price is the lowest we could go" but I'd need to make a decision quick as he said they were selling like hot cakes. I walked away as I don't like being pressured. I visited another dealer where the treatment wasn't much better. Then I went to the Jaguar dealer to investigate the F type as option, but it wasn't the car of her dreams. Sunday morning I found Walters Porsche in Riverside and placed a call, quickly and politely answered by Bob Mc Donald. They had a black Cayman S with beautiful red leather interior-drop dead gorgeous! So we drove to Walters, and were in and out in about an hour. Bob and Jason Hardin in finance we're friendly, professional and gave us a great deal on price, trade in and lease terms. I've bought a lot of cars in the past 39 years and I say this with complete honesty; I've never had a better experience buying a car than I did at Walters in Riverside and Bob went out of his way to take care of us promptly and professionally. I'll be back in 2 years when our lease is up for another Porsche, maybe 2! More

Exceptional does not begin to describe the service I received from Ed McRae and Bob McDonald at Walter’s Porsche in Riverside. My experiences with Bob and Ed began in November 2012, when a new Boxster received from Ed McRae and Bob McDonald at Walter’s Porsche in Riverside. My experiences with Bob and Ed began in November 2012, when a new Boxster S was delivered to an event I was attending. I had been interested in ordering a 2012 Cayman R from another dealer, but the experience was so unpleasant that I postponed doing anything. My November conversation with Bob and Ed was encouraging and I asked to be notified when the 2014 Cayman S would be available. A short time after our meeting I received and email from Bob McDonald inviting me to Porsche’s invitation only world reveal of the new Cayman/Cayman S before the LA Auto Show. At the reveal, Ed explained the steps necessary to order the Cayman S of my dreams – a remarkably simple and reasonable process. On December 25th Bob McDonald sent an email saying Porsche was accepting orders for the 2014 Cayman S. After a couple of conversations to explain options and administrative details, Bob submitted my order for a Guards Red Cayman S. The car was anticipated to be at Walter’s in late April. During the four months waiting period, I received email updates from Bob McDonald and had a couple of conversation with Ed McRae. As anticipated my Guards Red 2014 Cayman S arrived on April 26. It is particularly impressive in all of my conversations with Ed and Bob; they were always on the same page. The details were always the same whether Ed or Bob was talking. This continuity of details was particularly appreciated when completing the paperwork. The paperwork took a reasonable amount of time and everything was clearly communicated. When everything was done Bob spent approximately 20-30 minutes explaining the features of the car including importing the phone book from my iPhone into the phone system of the Cayman S. Bob’s communication style was unhurried and thorough. It has been nearly 2 weeks since I picked up the Cayman S. The 2014 Cayman S is more than anticipated at any time during this process. The service received from Ed McRae and Bob McDonald at Walter’s Porsche was exceptional. If you are considering a Porsche, talk with Bob or Ed. More
