Start Date: 1982-05-15 Hometown: Evergreen Park, Illinois; where the sun never sets, it’s always sunny! I have been in the car business for 45 years. I’ve been at Oak Lawn Toyota for 42 years. When I graduated from college, I started selling cars, and I thought it was only going to be temporary. Not too many people leave Oak Lawn Toyota :). Ronnie Colosimo is a wonderful man to work with and for. He has respect for ALL of his employees. I have been married for 40 years. I have a beautiful daughter, three cats, and a 24 year-old “shark”. My first car was a 1967 Ford Mustang Coupe in Maroon. My favorite car we sell here at Oak Lawn Toyota is a Toyota Tacoma. My hobbies are carpentry and stained glass artistry. Was looking for a new 5th Gen Toyota 4Runner last of the era of V-6 $Runners and Oaklawn Toyota had 1 coming in. I purchased a TRD Pro which has all the options,and is really aggressive looking and will las era of V-6 $Runners and Oaklawn Toyota had 1 coming in. I purchased a TRD Pro which has all the options,and is really aggressive looking and will last over 300,000 miles with regular maintenance. Having bought other Toyota's from their and them having a great service department, plus old school sales people I knew we could get a good deal.Talked to salesman Bob Spee who has been working there for a long time he kept us appraised on status when it was coming in. Got a phone call it was in,and asked if we wanted to buy it the answer was "yes!" We bought a 2015 4Runner trail edition from Bob and my daughter needed a reliable vehicle so we sold/gave her that 1, and wanted t buy another but had to save some more money. We met Bob last Friday and made the deal, we also dealt with Steve Hertogs the sales manager another nice fair man. We went to finance and had Dominik Gibek helping us navigate paperwork. Then when I went back to showroom the owner Ronnie Colosimo was there to congratulate me on the purchase ad to thank me for the purchase. When the owner personally steps out it shows the family atmosphere of this great dealership. The experience was unlike other dealerships no pressure just their absolute best price, friendly faces and the service dept is top notch this is the best place to buy and service your Toyota. I told the service manager last time we were in that a big reason for purchase was the service dept and Juan the service manager and his team that we have dealt with Frank-Joe-Sal and of course the friendly cashier Geri make it a pleasurable experience to purchase vehicles from here. No frills just deals and a home like atmosphere. We all do not want to spend money but in life you have places you feel you got a good deal and you gladly spend there this is the type of place Oaklawn Toyota is! See Bob Spee if you want a no pressure deal. They have put together a great team over many years and doing it like your family makes it great! More
