I purchased a “pre-owned” 2016 Audi on 3/11/2023 from Audi of Ontario. On 5/5/2023, after only 1200 miles, I began hearing a clicking/ticking noise from the right front of my vehicle. I immediately took Audi of Ontario. On 5/5/2023, after only 1200 miles, I began hearing a clicking/ticking noise from the right front of my vehicle. I immediately took it to Bauer German Auto Mechanic in Glendora, CA. They diagnosed it to be a faulty right front axle and right front lower control arm. The head mechanic advised I take it back to Audi of Ontario. After speaking to Phil Macias, servicing manager, he apologized and welcome my vehicle the following day to be inspected. On 5/9/2023, I was advised that my vehicle was not going to be covered per their used car manager. Upon arriving, I spoke directly with Brandon Barello, head service advisor, who informed me that they did not actually inspect my vehicle nor did they even put it on a lift to confirm a diagnosis, but simply went off of the 3rd party mechanics diagnosis. In fact, I was told that their mechanic couldn’t “replicate” the same sound that myself and 4 others heard. With that said, my vehicle basically sat in their back lot for 4 days. I was given an estimate and refused service. Following that, I immediately took my vehicle to Bauer German Auto for repair and service was completed in the same day at half the cost that I was given by Audi of Ontario. More
