This dealership sold me a pre-owned car with a fraudulent inspection report. When I found out and asked them to make it right, they gaslit me, refused to make the necessary repairs to the vehicle, and left me out to dry.
I purchased a 2018 Honda Accord Hybrid in May 2026. Midway gave me a signed 82-item inspection report saying nearly everything passed. I took it to a Honda dealership two days later and a certified Honda technician documented serious problems on video. Torn suspension parts. Brake fluid so dark and dirty it required immediate attention. Oil actively leaking from the engine that appeared to have been cleaned before the sale to hide it. Just to name a few.
Every single one of those items was marked as passing on their inspection report.
When I asked Used Car Director Andy Salem and General Sales Manager Isaiah Miller to cover the cost of the repairs for items they certified as passing, they refused and were condescending throughout.
When I pressed Isaiah Miller on why, he told me their inspection process is a "stop, steer, and go." They check that the car drives, stops, and that seatbelts and airbags are present. That is all. He also admitted they skipped reconditioning to keep the price low. That is what their inspection report is worth.
All I asked was for the car to be fixed to match the inspection report they handed me at the time of sale.
I spent weeks trying to resolve this directly with Midway before posting this review. I did not want to be here. But if this review saves even one person from being deceived like I was, then it was worth sharing.
This is not a dealership that made a mistake. This is a dealership that knew exactly what they were doing and counted on me not finding out.
Buy your car somewhere else.

Your response is full of lies and doesn't address a single documented concern with my vehicle.
Let's start with the biggest lie. You claim you remain open to conversation. Your General Sales Manager Isaiah Miller told me directly in an email he had nothing left to say to me and told me to contact your attorney. I asked for that attorney's information twice. Both times I was ignored.
A few other corrections for anyone reading this. The vehicle had 83,000 miles, not 90,000. The Buyers Guide you provided at the time of sale shows Implied Warranties Only, not AS-IS. The AS-IS document you reference explicitly cites your own inspection report as the basis for disclosure, which certified nearly every item as passing.
Notice they did not address a single specific finding from the independent Honda inspection. Not the torn suspension parts documented on video. Not the brake fluid so dirty it required immediate attention. Not the oil leak that appeared to have been cleaned before the sale. Not one.
I am not asking for anything unreasonable. I am only asking for the items your own inspection report certified as passing to be fixed. The estimated cost of those repairs is just over $3,800. Think about that. Midway Chevrolet has involved their general sales manager, their used car director, their controller, and their legal team, responded to several agency complaints, and is now responding to public reviews to avoid paying $3,800 in repairs they certified as passing. That tells you everything you need to know about how they treat their customers.
As for returning the vehicle, that is not a resolution. It leaves me without a car, forces me to start my car search over, and lets you put the same car back on your lot with the same problems to sell to the next unsuspecting buyer.
The receipts don't lie, even if you do.
