My name is Brett Mathis. I have been a Service Advisor for over 6 years now and with Ford for 2 years. I really enjoy my job working for Sunset Ford & Ford Motor Company because it is a line of vehicles I most enjoy, especially Mustangs. Mustang are an area I feel most confident in and enjoy helping customers learn and understand what upgrades are most suitable for the customer’s expectations. I personally own 4 fords including a 1951 Ford Tudor. Last year, I became a Master Certified Service Advisor since I have been here with Sunset Ford. I was born and raised in Saint Louis and proud to work for a dealership that has been in business for over 100 years!

I had a good experience this time even though I had a major repair that was expensive. I don’t like how long it takes to get an appointment. I’m not sure that some of the other complaints I have are due major repair that was expensive. I don’t like how long it takes to get an appointment. My Service Rep (Brett) was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. I would highly recommend asking to work with him if you have the opportunity. When I picked up my GT350 someone had put 5 miles on it. This doesn’t seem like a lot, but certainly more than one would expect driving in and out of the service bay. I’m concerned that someone may have taken my car joy riding. I would have said yes if someone wanted to drive it and asked, but am concerned that whoever drove it may not be as meticulous as me about getting to oil temp to 180 before driving it hard. More

They forgot to do my service the day it was scheduled. I scheduled an oil change and fuel filters change on a Saturday. I dropped my f250 off the Friday night before. I called Saturday night at 5:15, but they were closed. I had to go back up on Sunday to get some tools for Monday and noticed my truck didn’t even move. 2 days later my service was finished. I also added rear brakes and rotors after the multipoint inspection. While checking out, all the computers locked up and the credit card readers didn’t work. My service advisor Brett Mathis handled everything great. He really stepped up with the issues that came across his desk. To add to it I went home and had to wipe down the front of the truck from all the oily hand prints. More
