Here’s my story. My wife and I had our 3rd child (3 boys, I know) and we did not have a vehicle that fit all five of us so we need a new car. I was new that this was going to hit our budget and we had to shop smart. Also, buying cars kinda sucks. We searched on the internet and decided to check out a Honda Pilot at Dave Mungenast STL. I was first helped by a gentleman named Jake McRoberts. He was kind enough to give me his cell number so we could chat freely, answer my questions, and set up an appointment the following week. Not pushy at all. Just honest. When my wife and I arrived for our appointment Jake was with another client. After filling in his counterpart, Brian Andersen, about our needs Brian was able to show us the Pilot. Turns out we really didn’t need a Pilot. There was no room in the back of the vehicle and like I said, five kids. So he showed us the Honda Odyssey. My wife and I drove a couple of them but we could tell that this was the fit. Brian worked with our financial budget and we came to an agreement that was perfect. That said, the team was friendly, kind, honest and just a pleasure to business with. Thanks! More

My salesman, Brian Anderson, was so helpful without being the least bit pushy. I stopped by the dealership just to ask to few questions about my trade in value to see where I stood with zero intention to act the least bit pushy. I stopped by the dealership just to ask to few questions about my trade in value to see where I stood with zero intention to actually trade my car in that day, which I let him know from the start. He was honest with me about my situation and spent ample time answering all my questions and going through numbers even though I was “just inquiring.” I’ve dealt with other salesmen in similar situations and felt dismissed or pressured or patronized, especially being a woman. I DID end up deciding to trade my car in and Brian and everyone else at Mungenast Honda that day, all the way through Finance, made this purchase probably the most enjoyable and relaxed car buying experiences I’ve had, and I’ve had a lot of cars in my 37 years! 10/10 would recommend this dealership and Brain specifically to anyone looking for a new or used vehicle!
