Purchased my Kia Optima almost 3 months ago. Shortly after I got the car, I noticed a rattle in the motor when accelerating. Took it to Subaru where I bought it and was told it was the exhaust. Shortly after I got the car, I noticed a rattle in the motor when accelerating. Took it to Subaru where I bought it and was told it was the exhaust. The next week same thing, this time I had lights coming on the dash and the screen in the center of the car. Called Subaru again and was told to bring it to the Kia dealership in Clearwater. Kia went through it and said it was the catalytic converter and thermostat. They sent the car back to Subaru to have them do the work. After car was done I was able to pick it up. It was fine for about a week and a half or so, then same thing all over again. I was told by a friend mechanic that it’s a bad park plug(s) causing a misfire when accelerating. But told no by Subaru. I absolutely love my car, but I’m fed up with the issue it STILL has, and feel like it isn’t important to either dealership. Now I don’t know what step to take. More

Bought a forester wilderness here with 1800 miles. Initially, they did not have the car yet so I told Brody the sales person to take pictures and let me know if there were any scratches dents or din Initially, they did not have the car yet so I told Brody the sales person to take pictures and let me know if there were any scratches dents or dings. The car arrived in the week and he told me it was pristine! When we drove from Orlando to pick up the car, it was full of scratches on the rear and side of the bumper. Wasted my time driving all the way. I also told them to submit my credit app to a credit Union during the week before we picked it up so we could get a better interest rate. They did not do what I requested. Their excuse was the credit Unions are closed on Sunday but they had all week to do it! The manager Frank agreed to have the rear bumper sprayed. So again we drive back the following Sunday to pick up the car. We arrive and the car is filthy dirty. It has not been detailed. It’s full of dust from the body shop. The interior is dirty from the previous owner. At this point I’m really frustrated and annoyed. I speak to the front desk sales managers and we agree to them sending me a $500 check. We take the car away. Two weeks pass and no check has arrived. No follow up on how we are liking the car or anything of that matter. I call the dealership and nobody knows anything about the check but they tell me they will get it sent! 🤦🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️ This is a Lokey dealership and it’s clear to me they only care about one thing and that’s your money! We got absolutely no discount on the vehicle. Do you know they charge $1800 recon fee and $899 dealer fee. You don’t need to recon a car with 1800 miles! It’s basically extortion so they can take as much money from you as possible! We never ever received the check! Stay far away from this dealer!!!! Dishonest extortionists!!!! More
