Brian Walts likes to take care of people and make them happy, which makes him a great fit for his position as a certified sales consultant here at Armory Garage. The Albany native believes it's our massive inventory of pre-owned and new Dodge, Jeep, Ram and Chrysler vehicles that sets us apart from the competition. Walts is a Giants and Mets fan, and can be found playing both basketball and softball to pass the time. He also enjoys going out into Albany and trying new restaurants. He is most proud of moving across country at the age of 18 and living in Arizona for seven years.

Armory Garage Inc. (Armory) performed repairs to your vehicle in excess of $3,700, under "goodwill" at no charge to you, although not covered by the vehicle’s limited warranty. The diagnosis we performed, indicates that the vehicle had been operated with “warning lights on” (caused by failed components not covered by your limited warranty). The operation of the vehicle with these failed components was determined to have damaged your engine. This was not covered by your extended vehicle service contract due to the failure and subsequent continued operation, as determined not by Armory, but an adjuster from your extended vehicle service contract company. The vehicle was returned to us, approximately 2 weeks and 1,000 miles later with a "check engine light” concern. We diagnosed the vehicle and found it had been operated in a manner that “resulted in mud accumulating on top of the engine”, including parts we had just replaced under “goodwill” on the prior visit. We again performed a "goodwill" repair to correct this. In our professional opinion, had the vehicle not been operated in such a manner to cause mud accumulating on top of the engine, this repair would not have been necessary. On your last visit, your vehicle was diagnosed at “no charge”. This diagnosis found the need for a new catalytic converter. This is not a covered component on your vehicle. We offered as “goodwill” again, to replace your catalytic converter. You declined, stating you wanted to "just return the vehicle and get your money back". This is not something that is possible as you have been operating the vehicle for months and have put several thousand miles on the vehicle. We believe strongly that we have gone above and beyond to assist you, exceeding any limited warranty coverage or obligation. I apologize that you are apparently still not satisfied, but it is certainly not due to Armory not trying. We can find no justification for further assistance involving your vehicle and this concern, including “no charge” repairs previously offered (and declined by you) as “goodwill”.
