(415)307-2113, Loren Thomas. Additional details-purchased this car used at Serramonte Honda in April 2025. Returned to them in May 2025, let them know the A/C was not working. They said no problem it’s still under warranty, gave me a printout, said I could take it to Manly for repair, which I did. It wasn’t a very hot summer and I hardly drove at all so I didn’t get to really test the AC until January 2026 and found it to not be cooling at all. In February I took it back to Manly to report it not working. Despite saying they guarantee their work, supposedly the parts that were showing as broken now are different from the ones that were under warranty so I’m just out of luck and have to pay the full cost of the repair estimated at almost $4,000. There was no mention last May of these parts having issues so I wouldn’t call that a guarantee satisfied, especially since it hasn’t been a full year. I had to dig up my sales receipt to prove to Brittany that I had purchased a warranty along with the car from Fidelity services. Two phone calls to Serramonte Honda asking for help with this information went unanswered. If I find out how to add a review for Serramonte I’ll do so since I am even more disappointed in their service. Once I said I have proof on my receipt that I have a warranty from Fidelity she was able to use the last 5 of my VIN to pull it up. Apparently she could have looked it up the whole time but wanted me to spend the whole day calling around and trying to find my receipt, misplaced after a recent move. That or she didn’t think to just look it up with them when I told her the first time, likely she couldn’t care less about actually helping me. Once she looked it up and got in contact with them it took a week to get them there to verify the repair was needed. Perhaps the warranty company know better than I to not trust dealership repair shops. Once the parts were verified to be under warranty, the repair was completed within a day. I still had to pay almost $1,300 for miscellaneous connections not covered by warranty. The only reason I received 10% off in consideration for my troubles was because I specifically asked. Never again will I buy from dealerships. Never again will I take a car for repair at a dealership. Never again will I buy a Honda - I have plans to sell this one as soon as possible - it’s so tiny and aggravating in so many ways. I will forever regret not getting a Toyota like the one I had that was totaled. There should be some laws against letting someone with a concussion buy a car but of course there isn’t because this is America, land of the scummy scammy dealers.
