Visit for MIL lit. The Service writer, Brooke, accurately relayed my concern to the Service department and the issue was resolved in less than an hour. Recall visit Equinox had to come in for recall. I was surprised that no one was in the garage to greet me for about 5 minutes. Manager was friendly and efficient a Equinox had to come in for recall. I was surprised that no one was in the garage to greet me for about 5 minutes. Manager was friendly and efficient and got psuper work completed quickly. Repair took less time than I was told it would take. When I was told my car was ready, it took a little time for the mechanics to find it so I could leave. This experience was unlike any previous experiences. There seemed to be a lot of miscommunication in the garage area. Everything else was okay. More

Horrible!!! Dont go to hawthorne Chevrolet!!!!! I leased a brand new 2018 equinox on 9/26/2018 and I have nothing but problems, I brought the car back after only having it for a few days. There was I leased a brand new 2018 equinox on 9/26/2018 and I have nothing but problems, I brought the car back after only having it for a few days. There was a horrible smell with each passing day. It smells like mildew, the smell is so bad anyone that got in it said, they cant take to be in the vehicle. When I brought it back and told them about the smell they tried to act like the smell is from something I did. The manager steve in sales found that, where the spare tire is, they found it was filled with water, a lot of water. They said it was probably from a pinhole leak in back light which he said has happened with other vehicles in the past, and thats how it filled with so much water. after they had the vehicle for 5 days and I had to drive a loner which I drove longer then I had my new vehicle for. I picked up vehicle and the smell is just as bad. I was told again my the manager it just needs time to air out. The vehicle is now making sounds like it is going to stall and the brakes are squeaking. I told them i leased a new vehicle and i dont want this one with all of these problems. I was told it doesn’t work that way and their solution is to give me another loner while they look at the vehicle again. How can this be legal? How can someone sell a brand new vehicle to someone with this many problems? More
