We loved the no-pressure/highly informative sales experience We visited Fred Anderson Toyota on the 29th of December. It was the third Toyota dealership that we had visited in the same number of days. This dea We visited Fred Anderson Toyota on the 29th of December. It was the third Toyota dealership that we had visited in the same number of days. This dealership is almost an hour from our new home in NC, but my son-in-law recommended it highly due to pricing and availability as well as their Family Plan which adds a lifetime power train warranty for life as well as free synthetic oil changes for life. In fact, our most compelling reason for visiting Fred Anderson Toyota was that it was the only dealer within a reasonable driving distance that still had 2018 Highlanders available for purchase. Upon arriving, we were greeted by Bryan Harrison who proved to be an outstanding representative of the dealership and the brand. His knowledge of the Highlander was extensive and he was able to give us a bumper to bumper tour of the Highlander's standard safety and comfort features as well as description and in many cases, a demo of the high end features available in the two 2018 LTD trim vehicles that he had available. We took them both out for a test drive and asked for pricing on the vehicles. Having already gotten "Costco pricing" for an XLE trim Highlander at two other dealers, we were able to tell that the pricing we got on this LTD vehicle was within reason. My husband made a counteroffer and our pricing request was met in due haste! Since it was almost closing time at the dealership, and since we were paying "cash" and needed to pull our funds together, we returned two days later to meet with Scott Kline, one of the business managers, to finalize the deal, make payment, pick up our paperwork and drive our vehicle home. We received excellent service at this stage of the process as well since Bryan and Scott had seen to it that all our paperwork was complete in time for our arrival. Both Bryan and Scott were respectful of our desire to keep our costs in line and we were not pressured into buying any additional accessories or maintenance packages. On the other hand, since the extended maintenance plan was priced rather favorably, we decided to add it to our vehicle. In addition, because our vehicle is high end and has many electronically controlled convenience features as well as a touch screen interface, we decided to add 8 year extended bumper to bumper warranty coverage. Both my husband and I felt that this would be a wise investment that would help protect us from costly computer based repairs in the future since we tend to keep our vehicles for at least that long and because the LTD trim offers many enhanced computer controlled features that are reported on both the LCD touchscreen and/or LED lit displays on the dash!. Again, NO pressure was applied to push us in this direction and we really appreciated the respect that Scott showed us in this regard. After the sale was complete, Bryan brought our experience to a close by sitting with us inside the vehicle and helping to set up bluetooth communication between our cell phones and the in-dash touchscreen. He showed us how to access many of the touch screen based controls and settings and how to use and adjust the sound settings of the radio. It was a rather busy sales day so we appreciated the fact that Bryan was willing to spend that extra time with us before we left the dealership. Based on our experience to date, we would highly recommend Fred Anderson's dealership for the purchase of a new or used vehicle and we would definitely recommend our outstanding sales person, Bryan Harrison. (Be advised that Fred Anderson also sells additional brands of automobiles besides Toyota and has separate showrooms for each!) Thank you Bryan and Scott for making our buying experience such a pleasure! More
