Extraordinary Service! Last Friday I had to bring in my XC70 because it wasn't starting properly. On this unexpected visit, I arrive to 3 smiling and welcoming faces, hard Last Friday I had to bring in my XC70 because it wasn't starting properly. On this unexpected visit, I arrive to 3 smiling and welcoming faces, hard to choose, but I went to Bryan because he's been there for nearly as long as I have been a customer. Not only do they take in my car. On a mome to notice, but after realizing the customer transport is busy, they immediately get me a loaner! After all of this happening on my way to work, I am just 10 minutes late. Service does not get better than that. Within an hour Bryan called and let me know what was wrong, most of which was covered under warranty on my 2010 model, again, amazing. They called again in the early afternoon as soon as it was ready and I picked up my perfectly running cat on my way home. When they say Volvo for life, Portland Volvo exemplifies why that is! I even talked my husband into switching from Audi, because their local service was terrible. Thank you Portland Volvo! Bryan, David, Joel, and Mike (Sales)!! More

Im not approached by eager car salesman when Im window shopping, yet they are right there working at their desks ready to answer any questions I may have. The building is well lit and clean. They have a nice waiting room. They dont try to up sell me things I dont need. They only offer whats needed. And dont press when I say no thank you. It's another reason why I drive a Volvo. Im just a regular middle class working guy :) More

Anytime my car has a problem, they are right there to help. They do there best to provide the best service possible. When the transmission in my car went, it was time to find my dream truck. Although portland Volvo did not have one on their lot, they found the perfect truck for me! I could not have been happier with the result. They found a truck that had everything I wanted, and replaced the grey cloth seats, and put leather. Everyone at Portland Volvo is a fantastic crew! I can safely say I will never go anywhere else to purchase a vehicle. More

Solid. I have a 2005 Volvo S60 and have been servicing my vehicle at Portland Volvo for the past year and a half. I find the service to be fine and solid. I I have a 2005 Volvo S60 and have been servicing my vehicle at Portland Volvo for the past year and a half. I find the service to be fine and solid. I also enjoy the convenience of the dealership. They offer shuttle rides or even a loaner car without hesitation. Whenever I bring my car in to have something looked at they diagnose and repair the same day without hesitation which I find to be very convenient. That being said, my thought is when going to a dealer and paying the premium labor $ per hour I would receive EXCEPTIONAL service, but I have noticed that they do what is asked and don't look go above and beyond. Dont' get me wrong when they do work on my vehicle it is done and fixed. But I was extremely disappointed when I went in to pick up my car the other day after a $650 repair and they explained my driver side window was off the track and they could turn off the switch for very little money or fix it, which would have cost nearly $700. I said just turn it off so I can't use the window anymore. I then asked the service clerk is this an inspectable item and he said yes when it is due for an inspection you will need it fixed. I guess he didn't take the time to look at my inspection sticker and notice that my inspection is due next month. I also was a little ticked off when my window washer fluid was low and they didn't fill it up. I guess the $650 I paid wasn't enough...I thought they had an investment in me being a young driver and a relatively new Volvo owner that they would want to try to delight me and provide exceptional service. That's not the case, since the cost is way too high here for the value I think I will explore other garages for my next service visit. I also have decided that I will NEVER buy another Volvo after the 4 or 5 $500 to $1500 repairs to keep this car going. It has been a headache and I would recommend to not buy a Volvo. More
