This is the worst place I have ever done business with. They sold me a junk car for my 17yr old daughter. Every time I would call no one would ever answer or return my calls. We have only had this car for 1yr and 4 months and it has already had a new engine put in it. It has been at the dealership more than at our home. I would not recommend anyone to buy here. More

Highly recommend Trevor @ Cochran VW. I stopped at Cochran VW intending only to see a particular color of 2019 GTI, after a not-so-great experience with another metro area VW dealership. I stopped at Cochran VW intending only to see a particular color of 2019 GTI, after a not-so-great experience with another metro area VW dealership. I walked in and was greeted by Trevor. I explained why I was there and that I had no intention of buying a car that day. After we looked at the GTI Trevor politely asked me if I might be interested in running my numbers by him. I sensed that he was low key, and we had a friendly conversation. I had done a great deal of research and I knew my $ numbers. He respected my knowledge and the fact that I am a senior citizen still interested in high performance and enthusiast driving. He ran my numbers by Caitlin his Sales Manager (see separate review) only one time, and our deal was done shortly thereafter. I neglected to mention in Caitlin’s review that the GTI speced the way I wanted it was located at another western PA dealership. Caitlin had the car transferred to Cochran promptly and safely. I’ll also mention that Trevor and Caitlin both return phone calls and emails promptly, and with real information. If there was a delay in getting back to me, each response began with an apology. Thank you so much guys for sparing me from the expected dreaded haggling and drawn out process of purchasing a new car! More

Worked with Ryan, who was super great - friendly, casual, knowledgeable, and generally made the experience a breeze. The dealership was really nice, the test drive was totally without hassle, even though, like I said, I thought the car was out of my budget. Got to talking numbers and Caitlin came over - also great. We talked numbers, and they explained their no-haggle pricing - what you see online is what the car costs, so if you like it, great! If you don't... well don't bother, because that's the price. It took a good bit of the pressure off the negotiation because there basically wasn't one (except for trade in). Went back and forth a few times and, while they made an extremely fair offer on my trade in, we couldn't make numbers work (as I'd originally expected though, so no big deal). Even after we decided we couldn't make numbers work on the particular car they had, we talked about what sort of car I wanted vs what I could afford, and weeks later I got a follow up calls from Caitlin and Ryan as they found cars that fit the bill come up at auction. While I didn't end up buying a car here (I'm picky about everything including color, and ended up buying a car 2 states away), I had a great experience and would recommend Ryan and Caitlin and Cochran VW - if you like the price they advertise, go buy a car - it'll be a breeze!
