My husband and I dreaded the prospect of car shopping but knew it was time to renew our vehicles. Our goal was to find two used cars to replace our existing cars and stay within a specific budget. After weeks of looking online and finding nothing, I sent my husband and daughter out to visit some dealers to see what they had to offer. They met Candace Chelist of Dave Mungenast Honda and it was like a gift from heaven! From that time on the pressure was off of us! I guess I had a stereotypical "used car salesman" idea in my head and dreaded the wheelin' and dealin' normally associated with purchasing vehicles. None of that applies to Candace. From the first meeting she gathered info on what we wanted and showed us only what was within our specifications. If we didn't like it, she moved on, NO PRESSURE!! After purchasing our first car, she called to thank us and check to see if we were happy, any problems, etc. She kept looking for another car for us but only called when she really had a potential, not with just any vehicle. She has a gift for matching people with cars! She is personable, smart, and took care of all details while we sat in the ac and stayed comfortable. After we purchased the second car from her, she again called to check on us. Her business card will stay in our roledex and we highly recommend her personally as well as Dave Mungenast Honda. More

We had a tough time finding the vehicle we wanted to rep;lace our 2008 Oddesy and kept on going back to Candace. Candace took the time to make us feel welcomed each time we arrived and she was always pointing out the feathures and mileage of the used pilots so we became very familiar with the model and years of each on the lot. When we made the choice to purchase everything about the deal was easy for us, we received a very fair trade in for our Oddesy, a below market price on a beautiful 2010 Honda Pilot touring model and a friendly fiance person. We have always used Mungenast St. Louis Honda for our servicing and already knew how well we have been treated, to include the small but significant free car washes when you are in the area. I can only saw our purchasing experience was very pleasant, no matter how many times you visit shopping, and the team there, especially Candace are great to work with to get what you want. Thank you. Candice was a pleasure to work with and I felt I received appropriate price on my trade-in and price of the 2011 used Honda Fit. My only confusion came at the end when I signed all the papers. I am thankful to God that I was able to purchase a Honda from the St. Louis Honda dealership (Dave Mungenast). The price is more than I wanted to pay. I did not like the fact that you were not willing to ne from the St. Louis Honda dealership (Dave Mungenast). The price is more than I wanted to pay. I did not like the fact that you were not willing to negotiate the price especially when I had the opportunity to purchase a honda the night before from another dealer out in St. Peters (Napalton)for a better price but I wanted to do some more searching and I was also in need of a new/used vehicle rightway. There were a few problems that I encountered with the car once it had been delivered but I do thank the sales representative Candance Chelist who worked very hard to make sure my problems were fixed. She was very pleasant and professional. I want to thank Brett Mathis for handling the problem with the front windshield and getting it replaced. I can say that the credit rating your dealership has received and the awards it has gotten for the service they provide to their customers and their purchases is outstanding. More

Fantastic experience start to finish. Purchased two Hondas in two days from this dealer. High class, professional staff and dealership. The vehicles were a new 2011 Accord and a pre-owned 2003 Civic Hondas in two days from this dealer. High class, professional staff and dealership. I recently purchased a used CRV Honda from Dave Mungenast Honda. This was my first purchase from them... I only wish I had worked with them before. Having totaled by previous Honda- I was pretty nervous ab Honda. This was my first purchase from them... I only wish I had worked with them before. Having totaled by previous Honda- I was pretty nervous about even driving another vehichle, let alone having shop for one. My sales person- Candace Chelist made it easy. I had noticed my soon-to-be Honda when my other -half drove me around various lots on a weekend. Not ready for sales talk and nervous about driving an unfamiliar car ... I simply went home. The following Monday morning, I called to inquire about the vehicle...Candace anwered all my many questions and encouraged me to come out that very day and try the vehicle that I liked, as well as others. There was no stress or pressure- she was awesome and I must say very brave to ride with someone who still had car accident jitters. Long story short...I fell in love with my new-to- me Honda. Dave Mungenast's staff all made it so easy ...it was like one stop shopping- and they did all the work of making it happen. I will continue to do business with this dealership. My last two prior vehicles were new; and, I still did not get all the follow up calls and letter thanking me for my business like I have with Dave Mungenast Honda. This dealership made me feel like they sincerly cared and valued my patronage...I was not just a number. Thank you Candace and congrats all at Dave Mungenast Honda for doing such outstanding job in service and product. More
