Used car sales manager Carlo Borg began working at Don Ayres Thirteen years ago, and he can see why people in the community have so much respect for the dealership. Borg, who has been in the auto business for about 28 years, says Don Ayres puts its customers first – no matter what. “This is a great place,” he says. “We definitely take care of our customers.” Pre-owned vehicles, for example, must undergo a rigorous inspection before they are sold. Borg, a self-described fitness enthusiast, begins every day at the gym. Usually, he’s there by 5 a.m. “I look forward to it every day,” he says. “I live every day to the fullest.” I also enjoy spending quality time with my wife of 30 years and two daughters.

Back in 1989, I had purchased a Honda CRX from Don Ayres Honda and wa Don Ayers Honda, Recently, my wife and I went shopping for a replacement car. Back in 1989, I had purchased a Honda CRX from Don Ayres Honda and was very satisfied with the quality of the car, as well as the service department, so we decided check the dealership out. Our salesman was Anwar. Anwar, Carlo, and Bill, as well as the rest of the staff treated us excellent and were very patient, handling all the matters in the highest professional manner. Anwar particularly was easy going, answering all the questions we had and if he didn't know the answer, he tried and find out for us. The first car we purchased was the 2008 Honda Civic LX. We liked how we were treated so much, we decided to go ahead and purchase a second replacement car, the Pontiac G3. On the day we took the cars home, we made several stops in Ft. Wayne and in Churubusco. Several individuals inquired about the Pontiac G3 and the Honda Civic, since they were also looking for replacement cars. Our experience was so positive, that we have recommended Don Ayers Honda and gave Anwar's business cards to them and others who have asked since...we would pass more out...but have run out of cards!!! We have dealt with Don Ayres Honda for 20+ years. We have always had good service. Shannon was very helpful and informative. He made sure everything was set up that we had access to on the car.
