So far we have yet to ever trade one in, all are running great and continue to serve us well. The purchase this time was for our daughter’s first car, and she is thrilled with her Golf. As always Jeff Havard and the entire team at Lakeland VW were awesome. The genuine friendly atmosphere of this team blows away the typical car buying stereotypes, and that has always been fine by us. We are proud to be part of the Lakeland VW family. And when our other daughter is old enough to drive, I’ll be back for a car for her. Saved the best for last! I left Lakeland VW for last. I shouldn’t have. I read the 1 star reviews for this place and decided I would look elsewhere. But I couldn’t get the dea I left Lakeland VW for last. I shouldn’t have. I read the 1 star reviews for this place and decided I would look elsewhere. But I couldn’t get the deal I was looking for. So 4 dealerships later I decided to stop at Lakeland VW, a 3 hour drive for me. After arriving I was greeted by Charles Draper in a very quiet showroom and he introduced me to sales rep Hiram Mounier. Right off the bat Hiram went to retrieve the GTI I was interested in. We test drove it, talked about some features, and exchanged some pleasantries. Back at Hiram’s desk he presented the price I was looking for for my trade-in and even better the sales price of the GTI didn’t change from the conversation I had on the phone earlier with internet specialist Michelle. I was sold. In another office Charles fired up the printer and began the slew of paperwork. I had come with an approved loan from VW Credit and this made things easier. Charles' demeanor made it easy to look over the paperwork and I felt he was honest with me, pointed out some options but never pressured me to buy anything. I was in and out in less than 2 hours. I had arrived late in the day, as I drove off with my new GTI and a huge grin it was refreshing to see Charles and Hiram driving away in their respective VW cars too. Glad to see they stand by the brand they sell. 10/10 would buy from Lakeland VW again. I felt no pressure, no anxiety and things went smoothly. More
