My name is Chris Curtis, Assistant Service Manager for Germain Toyota of Columbus. Joining the Germain team in May 2018 I have a vast background working in the automotive industry since 1993. I strive every day to provide the best value in service with a smile and a handshake. Born and raised in Granville, OH I enjoyed being from a small town. I’m a graduate of Granville HS and participated in numerous manufacturer training seminars. My wife Jennifer and I have 5 children, Chase, Gwen, Alex, Abby, and Keegan. I enjoy spending my free time with family and friends, preferably at a beach. My favorite vacation escape happens to be South Florida. If I were to be a superhero I would have to be Ironman, he has cool toys and gadgets. When relaxing especially at the beach I enjoy kicking back and listening to my favorite tune One by U2. My favorite Toyota is the Camry, it’s sporty yet functional.

My appointment for my oil change was at 1215 pm which is when I arrived. The man that assisted me told me that it would be an hour and a half wait which seemed excessive since I had an appointment. At 1:51p when I arrived. The man that assisted me told me that it would be an hour and a half wait which seemed excessive since I had an appointment. At 1:51pm I go out and ask the person closest if he could give me an update on my car. The man that initially helped me yelled down "I told her it would be an hour and a half", so clearly he heard me and could have addressed me. I replied that it had been over an hour and a half and he says "actually it's been an hour and twenty-three minutes". So I'm left waiting. At 2:14pm he comes in to tell me that they don't have the filter needed to do the oil change because "this is a Nissan dealership so we just don't keep those things on hand like that". He then asked did I want to wait even longer than the 2 hours I had been waiting. I didn't have time to wait. There was no offer to reschedule me, there was no apology for wasting 2 hours of my day. On top of that, I had to come back. This is not the first time I've experienced horrible customer service by this same man and I really wish I had never purchased the maintenance package so that I would never have to come back here. More

I missed my appointment and they were able to quickly work me in the next day. Got me in and out within two hours and let me know of potential problems I would be facing down the road so I could prepare work me in the next day. Chris was very nice upon my arrival, even had a question after I left he promptly called me back explained my question and all was good. Receptionist who checked me out was a different story she was rude a after I left he promptly called me back explained my question and all was good.
