Excellent Service, Great Communication I had all but given up and decided to go with one dealer, but Chris Czaja worked for my business. After giving me a quote that was significantly bette I had all but given up and decided to go with one dealer, but Chris Czaja worked for my business. After giving me a quote that was significantly better than any other quote I had gotten, he won me over. His professionalism, communication and promptness were much appreciated for a smooth transaction. I would definitely recommend Chris and Grand Subaru for anyone in the market for a Subaru. More

New car purchase We have had a 2004 Subaru Forester since it was new, purchased before Grand Subaru opened in Bensenville. When Grand opened I started going there for service, since we used to live in Elmhurst and still are in that area often. We live about 15 miles west. I met Joe Bednarek when I was a counselor at College of DuPage--a very nice and helpful young man. He has been my service contact for several years. I trust Joe to give me a fair deal, good service, and no unnecessary charges. When we were ready for another car (kept the Forester, traded in a Honda) I asked Joe to recommend a sales person. We met with Chris Czaja; very personable, straight forward, recognized our needs, did not rush us, was not pushy. We trusted him to give us the best "deal." Chris took time with us to be sure we understood everything. We did not even visit another Subaru dealer. We knew what we wanted before we went in to see Chris. Thanks for a good experience. More

Great Deal, Great Service I tried another dealership first. I got more features for less money. They were honest and fair. An Awesome Deal This was the first out of three other car dealerships who treated us with true consideration, respect, and friendliness. At no point did they use the "good cop / bad cop" con of having to pull the manager into the discussion. For those of you who have experienced this it is usually an aggressive sell tactic. Grand Subaru, specifically Chris Czaja, made this an incredibly pleasant stress free and profitable experience. Yes, profitable. We were able to purchase a fully loaded Forester for $7,000.00 less than what we had been quoted by another dealership. This is how car buying should be. More

Via an internet quote he gave me a price that was significantly lowe The best thing about this dealership is Chris Czaja, the salesman I worked with. Via an internet quote he gave me a price that was significantly lower than the next best quote. You often worry that something will go wrong with a low quote when you actually show up, but there were no surprises. Anything extra such as tax and document fee was stated clearly on the quote, and the total price was exactly what I expected. Chris was very straightforward and clear in explaining everything. The car was special ordered, which I knew before coming in. It was promised to me in 12 weeks and was actually delivered in 8 weeks. When we picked it up Chris went over everything: the paperwork, the manuals, and the car itself. He was very knowledgable about everything and there was no feeling of being rushed. He mentioned all the extras that he could sell us, but there was no high pressure or any kind of pressure. When I said I wasn't interested, he moved on. I'd definitely buy again from Grand, and I'd definitely ask for Chris. The only downside of the agency was the finance guy who you have to deal with before you pay. I bought the car for cash with no trade-in, so this should have been a simple and short transaction. Even though Chris had called down to find a time when he could see us, he still kept us waiting for about a half hour. When he finally got to us, he tried to sell us everything under the sun, and this was not low pressure. He wouldn't take no for an answer until I had to get a bit unpleasant and tell him that there was nothing I was going to buy from him and he was just wasting his time and mine. At that point he got rather surly, but he at least got down to business and finished the transaction. The final blow was that his printer was almost out of ink, and the documents he gave me, including the registration, were barely legible. Finance guys are often the weak link at every dealership. More
