Great Experience! Chris Czaja and the rest of the team at Grand Subaru made the car buying process much better than I had ever anticipated! Chris quoted a price on my 2015 Forester that was far below any other dealership in the area, and worked with me to secure that vehicle. He was available to answer all the questions that I had during the entire process (which were numerous). Once my vehicle arrived at Grand Subaru, we set up an appointment to take delivery. The finance team at Grand was able to secure financing at a great rate and gave a fair price for our trade in as well. I could not be happier with my purchase, or with the service that we received at Grand Subaru! Thank you for everything! More

I live in downtown Chicago temporarily, and it's hard to reach this dealer through public transportation since I don't have a car yet. There is a different Subaru dealer closer to downtown but the ratings were not so great. So I bit the bullet and took the 2-hour trip to Grand Subaru. Glad I did so. Chris Czaja was my sales manager. The price he quoted in email is slightly better comparing to 4-5 dealers nearby. The service is good, they even sent shuttle to pick me up, and Chris drove me to the train station after my first visit, because I didn't know the PACE bus does not stop at York/Grand on weekend and got dropped off at the last stop still a few miles away from the dealer. I also like their process in which vehicle purchasing and financing are two relatively independent steps, so they probably cannot coordinate to try to give you a good price up front but rip you off in the financing. And about the price: price is good in first quote, but they don't negotiate. At first I feel a bit disappointed because I came ready for negotiation, but on the other hand I agree it's a simpler process saving each other some pain and tension, and leave a better dealer-customer relationship which may be mutually beneficial in long term. They could get busy at times and there could be short waits in between steps, but the manager was always polite. Based on my experience so far, I will return to a Grand Subaru for maintenance as well as repairs, and who knows maybe a larger car if my family grows, as long as the good experience holds for the long run. More

New car purchase I was looking to buy a new 2015 Forester. I searched on the internet and visited other dealers close to me. Even though I had not met Chris Czaja in I was looking to buy a new 2015 Forester. I searched on the internet and visited other dealers close to me. Even though I had not met Chris Czaja in person, he was the most responsive to what I was looking for and gave me the best price. We were able to arrive at the price and features via phone and email and Chris explained everything to me and made the process simple. When the car came in, we scheduled the pick up appointment and Chris went over the paperwork with me and then took the time to show me everything inside and outside of the car before I drove it out the door. I will be recommending Chris to anyone I know looking for a Subaru! More

I am incredibly pleased and impressed with how easy the entire process of buying a car out of state was. I live in Arkansas and found Grand Subaru online. They had one of the best selections of WRXs out of anywhere that I saw in the country, and they have high standards for the used cars that they have in inventory. It seemed like every time I looked at a WRX posting on AutoTrader, it was from Grand Subaru. Being an out of state sale and since I was unable to get the time off work that I needed to drive 10 hours from here to the dealership, I was expecting buying a car out of state to be complicated and take a while. However, I was incredibly surprised at how fast they initially got me a shipping quote and how they were able to provide me any additional information or pictures that I needed. Overall, if I'm in the market for another Subaru, I will definitely be going through them again. I couldn't be happier with my new car!!! More

Just purchased a 2014 Outback. Negotiated the entire purchase on line with Chris Czaja of their internet sales team. My best car-buying experience ever, Saved $1000 by making the trip from Wisconsin. My salesperson, Chris, picked me up at the airport and brought me to the car dealership. There he spent a few hours with me to make the transition to a new car was smooth. Even programed my cell with bluetooth. No surprises, no last minute upcharges. Just a great exerience from a dealer and sincere salesperson that does a huge volume in sales while taking care of every customer. Only regret -wish I was 20 years younger so that I could ne bought a BRZ instead of a Forester! The Forester is great though! BR from Madison More

We also received the BEST price on our new Crosstrek and I did lots of research before purchasing. We know you always feel like you were ripped off when buying a new car, but we felt pretty good about the price received. Grand Subaru was not the closest Subaru dealer to us, but the extra miles for the service/price we received was worth the drive. More

It's been 12 years since my husband and I bought a new car, Quite honestly, we were not looking forward to the experience! The back and forth price haggling, the mind games, etc. Well, I have to tell you that dealing with Grand Subaru was painless. I received a no-haggle Internet price quote immediately (on a Sunday!) which was very fair, and then made an appointment, came into the dealership, and was out in two-and-a-half hours, which included a test drive. The people were friendly and there was no pressure to purchase any of the extra add-ons. I would highly recommend doing business with Grand Subaru! More

Living more than three hours from Grand, I wanted to insure a tentative agreement on purchase price and trade-in before making the trip. When I arrived, I expected the typical shark-like "blood in the water" treatment, but the transaction was smooth (the best car buying experience I've ever had). There were no alterations to the trade-in quote or purchase price (something I've experienced in the past with other dealerships). Friendly staff--despite(unexpectedly)working late hours on New Year's Eve, due to customer volume. A truly no-pressure approach! Competitive pricing and higher trade-in offers than the other dealers I had researched. My only complaint is that the fuel tank was only a quarter full; something I have never experienced buying a vehicle (new or used). Maybe that was an oversight (the reason for my 4-star rating on "customer service"), but the overall experience was extremely positive. Traded a Jeep Wrangler Sport for a 2010 Forester and had the opportunity to experience the AWD on the trip home. Far superior to the Wrangler in 2-3 inches of snow and better MPG too! Would definitely purchase another vehicle from Grand Subaru! More
