I bought a new Trax from Tom Gill a little over a year ago. I went there in hopes of getting a used white Rogue. They did have one on the lot. The salesman told me that it would be cheaper to buy a brand ago. I went there in hopes of getting a used white Rogue. They did have one on the lot. The salesman told me that it would be cheaper to buy a brand new vehicle, payment wise. He showed me a brand new trax. I had never heard of a trax. It was black, the color that i did not want. They did have a new white trax sitting in front of the dealership. I told him that was the one that i would like to have. He said that one was more expensive. Not sure why. It was just like the black one. He said that he did have one new one in white. It had been a loaner car. Being a loaner it did have some miles on it. After looking at it, and the miles on it. I really wanted the other white one in front of dealership. He told me that the payments would be much higher for it. Feeling pressured and rushed, as well as monthly payments being a concern. I took the white loaner, which they called it a brand new car. As i went to get into the car, the drivers door would not close. Service man came out and fixed the latch on it. After getting home with the car, I thought it over. I realized with the miles already on it, and the door issue, i did not want it. The miles on it would also take some of my warranty away. I called the dealership the next day and told them that i was bringing it back. If i am going to pay for a brand new car. I wanted one that did not have that many miles on it. They told me to bring it back and they would have a brand new one ready and waiting for me, of course it was black. Again i said i wanted the white one in front. He said that they had worked very hard that day getting all the discounts that they could get to get it in my payment range. Feeling obligated i bought the black one. Advice!! Do not buy a Trax! If you are sitting at stop on a slanted hill. It will roll back on you when you start to go again. in the drive position. I have come close to rolling back into the car behind me. I went into Tom Gills, and asked about this. The salesman said all Trax do this, Wish they had told me that when i bought it. Also when sitting at a stop, the car will go into mode, that feels just like someone has bumped into the rear of the car. The strip on top of the car, has fallen off 3 times now. They do order a new one, but it takes months to get it. They glue the new strip on, which i had to go back 2 times after that, because it kept coming back off. Do not let the free car wash fool you. It does not even clean your car. My car comes out looking as tho it has not even been washed. I am very unsatisfied with the dealership, and the car. I have had my car a little over a year now. I am going to trade it in, and get a different car, with a different dealership. Please take your time when buying a car here. Do not let a salesman rush you into a car that you do not want. More
