Chris was informative on her call to me. We left my Fusion overnight and I had an awesome 2018 Fusion for my rental. The work was finished by noon the next day for pick up. I am very satisfied with North Country and my new brakes. More

Dishonest Sales to Loyal customer I dropped my vehicle off on Friday, 2/23 to get an oil change and tire rotation. Chris from North Country Ford called me to let me know that I had a I dropped my vehicle off on Friday, 2/23 to get an oil change and tire rotation. Chris from North Country Ford called me to let me know that I had a screw in the sidewall of my drivers side rear tire that was not repairable. She informed me that the tire would need to be replaced and they would recommend that I but 2 new tires for my car to prevent issues with the pull. They had quoted me $463.95 to replace the 2 tires. Since those charges seemed high I decided to check around at other places. My fiancé called and asked them to place my spare wheel on the vehicle since there was a screw in the sidewall of the tire and they informed him that they would not need to put on my spare because the tire was not flat. Shortly after, I picked my vehicle up and drove to Sam’s club to talk to a tire associate. They were closing and informed me that they would be able to get to my car right away at 7 the next morning if I could bring it back. They would evaluate the thread on the tires and let me know if they felt I needed 2 tires. Since I had just replaced one of my other tires a few months ago they said I would probably be ok with 1 tire but they would confirm once they looked at them. The next morning I dropped my vehicle off at Sam’s to have them fix my tire. I received a call from them a little later letting me know that they could not get my tire off as the lug nuts were swollen or the person who last serviced my vehicle put the wrong lug nuts on. They are unable to get my tires off and would need me to bring it to a mechanic so that they can cut the lug nuts off and buy new ones. Since I was at work, my fiancé picked my vehicle up from Sam’s Club and brought it back to the Ford dealership and told them what had happened. When my fiancé arrived at the dealership the person that helped him told him that it was normal for the lug nut on a vehicle to swell. My fiancé pointed out to the associate Jake that I have almost 63,000 miles on my vehicle that was all driven in MN and have never had an issue with the lug nuts. Almost 12 hours after picking up my car from the dealership and 13 miles of driving since they had it, all of a sudden the lug nuts are swollen? Jake attempted to get the lug nut off and was unable to so he took my car to the back to fix the issue. After they finished changing the lug nuts on the car my fiancé brought my car back to Sam’s club to get the tire fixed. I received a call shortly after they started to work on my car the second time to ask me who had told me that there was a screw in the sidewall of my tire. They had looked over all my tires and were unable to locate any screws in the sidewall. They did, however find a small nail in the thread of one of the tires and it was easily repairable. They took the nail out of the tire and put a patch on it. Overall my experience with Ford was awful. They incorrectly put the wrong lug nuts on my car when they serviced the vehicle. This caused my fiancé and I considerable stress, extra work and wasted time trying to get it fixed. In addition, they had no issues being dishonest by telling me I needed 2 new tires for my vehicle. When in reality I did not even need one tire on my car. I just needed a patch on one of the tires. I have never thought twice when they have told me about an issue with my car that needed fixing and now I cannot believe what they say. I am extremely disappointed with the integrity of this company and the service that I received. Especially after being a loyal customer for over a decades. I have bought my last 3 vehicles at this dealership and have had most of my maintenance done at this dealership. My fiancé called and left a message for the General Manager on Monday 2/27 regarding our experience and has not heard back. He had also called and spoke with a lead sales associate which seemed concerned about what had happened to us. He told us that he was going to look into the issue and get back to us. We are still waiting for that call. More
