My rating is also due to the fact I just recently purchased this vehicle from koons as a their highest certified rating. The throttle in this raptor is absolutely not what you would expect from a "performance" vehicle. It is extremely slow to respond, as in seconds, and acts as though it is always in way too high of a gear or the fuel lines are clogged. Looking on line for solutions, it appears others have had this issue as well and it was either the spark plugs or the torque converter. I really need to get this issue identified and fixed. The vehicle is borderline dangerous to drive with the throttle being so slow to respond to input. I hope to get this issue resolved soon. I would like to feel safe driving my family in my newly purchased certified vehicle. More

I was in the market for a 3rd row SUV for quite some time. I had done my due diligence in researching the make, model, color, "must have" features, fits budget and the distance i wanted to travel to pur time. The selections were narrowed down to two options one being the 2015 Ford Explorer XLT. Now Chuck was not my initial salesman, he kinda filled in and was like "the closer" for the salesman I was originally working with because he had a family emergency. I will admit, that I'm not too comfortable with sudden changes in a routine but went into the dealership with an open mind. So I met Chuck at the Koons Ford Annapolis. First impressions, he reminded me of this former football player transitioning into sales but still thinking about good ole days, and was going to sell me a car, good or bad by ANY means necessary, just to get the sale. My perception of him changed as we talked. He established some common ground by talking football. Both our teams are in the same conference and division. Of course my team, the EAGLES, are having a better season than the team formerly known as the Redskins. LoL more about my selection. Then the conversation turn to .y line of work. Chick made feel at ease with the whole process. No aggressive selling tactics, pointed features that I may not knew of and how the vehicle got upgrades like leather seating and all weather floor mats. When it came to price, we were able to negotiate a favorable number for both parties. The service didn't stop after the sale. Chuck offered a service free of charge to get out minor scrapes and scratches which I fully took advantage of. Chuck Greenlee and the whole team at Koons Ford Annapolis were OUTSTANDING ! I came in to test drive a Ford F150 Lightning, this was going to be gift to myself for my birthday. Fell in love with it, but wasn’t a fan of the color. My salesman, Chuck Greenlee was very easy to work with, no pressure tactics, he walked me through all the details and extra's of the used Toyota I was interested in. I chose Chuck as my salesman as other reviewers had suggested he made their car buying experience easy. Chuck went above and beyond the sale even calling me the next day to to check on how the vehicle was working out. My experience with Koons Ford/Lincoln of Annapolis used cars was much easier than my dealings with Carmax and local dealerships with similar vehicles. The Dealership staff very friendly and accommodating. The only thing that I found off putting was that I came in with pre-financing from Bank of America and a purchase order this particular Koons dealership unlike other Koons dealerships I was informed does not work with BOA in these terms. Therefore I had to go through their dealerships financing department to purchase the vehicle. That said, the financing department did get me 1/2 point less than Bank of America but it wasn't a necessity as I had already done the work and was happy.
