That's what I call service because your going to live with this car for years and Stamford Ford understood what it meant to get it right. More

It was very surprising to discover how friendly this Ford dealership is. Clay tolerated me trying out for World Rally Championship in the two cars we tried out. Barry picked me up from the train station, helped me recalculate and explain all the numbers on the pricing sheets, and another man also helped me figure out all the electronics. Most importantly there was no pressure. Options like interior/exterior warranties were presented to me instead of being pushed on me. I wasn't upsold to a new car or anything like that. The pricing was pretty fair. There aren't a lot of low-mileage Ford Foci out there with bumper-to-bumper warranty intact. Traveling farther to get one would have imposed costs to me, plus it was getting cold and paying for train rides to work was getting annoying. The only thing is that I would have liked to know to pull up the seat cushions to get a truly flat load bed. I'm pretty sure nobody pulled them up when they were dealer prepping the car because I found a cigarette lighter back there. More

I was interested in purchasi Where do I begin, on Wednesday August 20, 2014, I walked into to Stamford ford and was helped by a salesman Clay Morsey. I was interested in purchasing a 2014 expedtion el. While waiting over 20 mins for a price, I used the app truecar, and within 5 mins had quotes and certificates from 3 different dealers locally. The vehicle I was interested in had a MSRP on 61,500, Clay finally came back with the price of 59,500. I showed him my quotes from truecar the best was 55,400. (Keep in mind, this is a 2014 left over, as the 2015's are now available for order). Clay introduced me to the sales manager named Tom. Tom explained to me that they no longer use truecar but would honor their price to gain a customer because they are the "number 1 in customer service"! I made an appointment to come in the next day to get my car appraised and go on a test ride. Thursday came and I was unable to make it in to the dealership. I attempted to reach out to Clay, leaving him a voicemail, that never got returned, expressing my interest in the vehicle and letting him know to expect me on Saturday. Clay's day off was Friday. On Saturday, I walked into the dealership to find out that Clay never made it into work. I spoke with another salesman named Dan. I expressed my reason for coming and specifically asked to test ride that vehicle. I was advised to "sit tight", and he would pull up the vehicle for a test drive. After making a copy of my license, I sat patiently waiting for approx a half hour. Finally dan, drove up in a 2014 Lincoln navigator. I immediately expressed my concern and was told, "it's practically the same thing"! Then after waiting and addition 20 mins, he tried to push me into a regular expedition or shortie, not the one I was there to purchase, I expressed my concern and walked out of the dealership! Fast forward to Monday morning, August 25, 2014, I received a phone call from Clay, I advised him I was unable to talk but would call him back later. Immediately after I received a phone call from tom. I advised tom, that I was going to deal with his brother in law Dom (the owner of the company). Towards the end of my work day I received and email from Clay, apologizing for "my bad experience" and explaining to me that the vehicle we were looking at was swapped out with another dealer on Saturday. I expressed concern, that I was not notified of such happenings, given my complete waste of time coming in on Saturday. I told him if he returned my call on Thursday, I would of placed a deposited on the vehicle. I was upset knowing that after having me on the hook for that vehicle they would swap it without giving me a courtesy phone call or chance. I expressed my concerns to Clay, and advised him that a dealership that prides themselves in customer service, would be more attentive to their customers needs. I would of been ok with everything up until this point. I then received not one but two, condescending emails from Clay. I also reached out to the owner, Dom, who was extremely defensive. Stated that the reason his business is number one is cause he makes himself and his cell number available to customers. As a professional, I will never step foot in his dealership again, instead of being empathic to my needs as a customer, he immediately became defensive. I'm glad his cell number is available for disheartened customers after they have been wronged by his staff. That makes everything better! I'm giving this dealer one star, however they didn't even earn that from me! Buyer beware, it takes more than someone's cell phone number to know they truly value you and your business. I have since my experience read up on the "#1 customer service ford dealer" and there are many people whom have been treated poorly by Dom and his staff. Self entitlement is good for some but I pride my self on reputation, something Dom and his staff are lacking in my book!!! #1 in customer service...my foot!!! More

Salesman too busy so I was helped by another but Barry would check in with us as he passed by. Once we started to negotiate pricing and trade found out they had a deposit, But I could leave a backup deposit in case the current buyers financing fell through. Told them to contact me if it fell through. Following Friday received an e-mail telling me vehicle was still available and to contact them with my deposit. Got the message after work (you know that stuff we do to pay for these things) so had to call Saturday. Got voicemail each time I called and left message I would try again during breaks when I could Saturday but if didn't connect I would call with a deposit Monday since I was instructing at an event ALL day Saturday. Every communication from Stamford started with 'When Are You Leaving The Deposit". I still did not have a final price for the vehicle. Sales Called midday Saturday using caller ID to ask again for a deposit. Told them I would call Monday and that all messages left stated I was tied up Saturday but I WOULD be completing the sale. Monday took three attempts before I was given a final price which included the trade-in value given two weeks earlier when I first stopped by. Arranged my own financing and showed up 10 minutes late to pick up car. Was scolded by Barry for being late. Remember I am the one holding the $20k in bank checks now. . 2 hours later I finally was able to leave. Most of the information I received from Barry had to be corrected by Tony Siciliano regarding warranty's etc. Got as far as 95 (about 2 miles) and every time I used the brakes on 95 the whole front end would shake violently. Got back to the dealership 15 minutes after I had left and most of the staff , including my salesman had already Booked for the weekend. Tony provided me a loner so I could make the 90 minute drive home while the fixed the brakes and other inoperative systems on the Ford Certified Car that hadn't been fixed prior to delivery. Was told for the other systems (such as the SYNC) to use the warranty if I did not want to drive all the way cross state to Stamford. Following week car was delivered to me and loaner picked up. A Ford Certified Used Car should not be delivered to the customer unsafe for the road when the highway is less than 5 minutes away. Received only 1 response to multiple e-mails from Dominic Franchella who lists himself as Dealer Principle and was introduced as owner. Like the car, Tony Siciliano and Clay Morsey were great when everyone else was gone but I would not trust this dealership again More

He was personable and very efficient, also not pressuring at all (in a way which ends up being a reason to leave). That's the way a car buying experience should be. I also met the owner and sales manager, both great people to work with and once again, incredibly efficient. I would recommend this dealer to anyone looking to buy a Ford. Overall great experience.
