Friendly and good service, but LONG waits! I am generally very happy with Manly Honda, but there are some things that definitely could have gone better. I checked in and sat, and sat with a fu I am generally very happy with Manly Honda, but there are some things that definitely could have gone better. I checked in and sat, and sat with a full waiting room and no one checking in with me for over an hour, Jose was friendly, and said he would move things along, which he did. I sat some more and I was happy with the service, except that I had them check my door handle, and it is still opening with a noise and some resistance. As I was walking out, I remembered something technical I needed to ask about so when I couldn't get to Jose because he was busy, I went into sales. We just bought both of our cars in July and I needed help with my car involuntarily locking me out. I tried to get help from the sales desk but they kept saying that the car couldn't possibly lock with the keys in it. They shrugged me off but i asked for Cory. Cory was helpful, and referred me to Curt, who happened to be there that day...luckily for me. He was so knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful..He spent a long time in and out of my car trying to figure out the problem. He took me into service again and tried to tell Jose what was happening. I can't say enough about the professionalism and quality of knowledge and help Curt was. Jose was hurried and also said that it couldn't lock me out, but Curt told him that was exactly what was happening. They found me a rental car and told me he would call by closing with an update. The parts and car rental people were very helpful too, although I don't have their names. I never heard from Jose that day or all the next morning. I tried to call him two or three times and left messages, then remembered he had told me to text if I needed anything the first day. I texted him and about an hour later finally heard from him. It was very frustrating not being able to get hold of him, as I had never had trouble getting through to service on my other calls. My car was indeed fixed, a sensor was broken on the driver door side that was locking me out. He felt it had maybe had something caught on it to break it, but it was nothing I was aware of. It was covered by warranty. Now I have been inundated with requests to fill out the surveys from him. I had filled out one survey already, but I think it may have been a corporate one. I certainly didn't go into this detail with that survey, and I'm sorry for the longevity of my response. Overall, we have been very happy with Manly. The sales department, Cory, Pat and Beejan were fantastic. Curt is such a kind, knowledgeable and patient guy and I'm so grateful to him for sticking by me, believing me and identifying the problem. I think your service system of not at least acknowledging people before they wait so long is very flawed...people around me were so frustrated, some without rides, kids along, older people, it was a bad experience. My husband had brought his car in the previous month and had the same experience as far as someone not checking him in and being there 3 hours for an oil change! I was there over 4 hours that first day, for my first oil change originally. The lack of communication from the service advisers feels unprofessional and dismissive even though they were all friendly. I hope there are some changes in your system, as I think you try very hard to be an efficient, friendly place to do business with. Thank you. Susan Arsenault More

Worked with a broker but Manly delivered! Went out of their way to track down the car Due to a recent flood at their engine and transmission plant in Mexico which caused an extended interruption in production, the Honda Fit model and co Due to a recent flood at their engine and transmission plant in Mexico which caused an extended interruption in production, the Honda Fit model and color which we had requested was difficult to locate. Kurt Miller and Chris Tara-Browne basically scoured all of Northern California to locate the one remaining car which fit out parameters. Not only did they locate it, but had it delivered on a timely basis. Truly good service during this time of year. Rosa Chavez was efficient and knew her documentation. In addition, we left a set of keys in our old car and Chris Tara-Browne was kind enough to search the car and retrieve the keys. Truly service above expectations. Thanks a lot to the Manly crew, Kurt and Chris! More
