Friendly and Willing to Work with You! This was my first time dealing with Honda of Freehold. I've been car shopping for a few months and going back and forth between other Honda dealers w This was my first time dealing with Honda of Freehold. I've been car shopping for a few months and going back and forth between other Honda dealers was frustrating and going nowhere. This dealer wasn't even on my list of places to try as I found it too far for me. However, after a family friend recommended Freehold Honda after his terrific experience, we figured it can't hurt to call and see what they have to say. Well, our call to Honda of Freehold was an angel in the outfield. They gave an upfront offer over the phone that ended up being lower than the other nearby Honda dealers I spoke to. The next day I was in their dealership and 5 hours later drove out with my brand new car. Damian was our main salesman, but we had 4 different people working with us at some point (which I found odd and it wasn't comforting having different people handling our deal)! But Damian was great, very personable, charismatic, helpful and knowledgeable. However, I felt the place is physically too small for the amount of people they're serving (maybe because I went on a Saturday and it was like Grand Central Station). Too many people in and out and also being asked to leave the desk for another salesman to start a deal was slightly rude. It wasn't Damian that asked us to leave the desk, but he kept coming back to check on us as the other salesmen were working with us. Bonus points to Damian for that! Damian did come back to us in the end and called the insurance company and gave me a tour of my car. I will definitely go back to Freehold Honda in the future and I will certainly recommend Damian! More

Like many people the last thing I wanted to do on my day off was spend time in a car dealer, but I went in anyway and was glad I did. When we walked in Randee immediately set us up with a sales person Damian Simonelli and he was extremely knowledgeable on the product and programs that were offered, made us feel at home. Damion came back in with his manager, think his name was Steve or maybe Ken, sorry I can’t remember exactly, but he too was extremely professional, he understood my logic and basis for my stance and found a way with the management team to make the deal work for my wife and I, and of course Bean the Doberman. After we agreed to a deal, the professionalism, didn’t stop, Damian drove us to see all the vans and my wife was very prepared to pick color she wanted by seeing them all together, so thank you for that Damian. As we returned back to the dealer, my wife had to go into the finance person Dan. The finance process was accurate, smooth and quickly done, all numbers were as previously discussed and none of that hard selling, that was greatly appreciated! Before we left they assigned AJ to go over all the bells and whistles the car has, he was very knowledgeable too, and extremely pleasant to work with. We are repeat customers as I leased my 2016 Odyssey from Freehold Honda and now this one, the 3 previous Odyssey’s were purchased from a dealer closer to my home. I have no affiliation with Freehold Honda or any of the people there other than this purchase, and quite frankly hate the car buying process, but this was real smooth.
