I got Damon involved a month or so ago, but my wife and I were so busy over Thanksgiving that we were fairly non-responsive. He sent us cars to look at, but put no pressure on us and said "when you're ready give me a call. When I went in to see him. He had 7 or 8 different SUV's for me to look at. All the ones I had researched. I had thought the "Lease trade ins from 2013" would be out of our Price range, but Damon made it happen and we got exactly what my wife wanted. We came away with a Certified 2013 Honda CRV. Him and I think Robby stayed late Friday night to appraise my trade and Damon came in on his day off to make sure we could get the car on Sunday. More

I also despise having a car payment (who doesn't?). But, when our old SUV finally bit the dust last week, we didn't have a choice but to find a vehicle for our family. Our experience with Sam Swope Honda World couldn't have been more positive. We met with Damon Hampton and Robert Britain on Saturday (stop number 1 of the day) and did not feel pressured to buy as we headed out for a couple of other car appointments at other dealerships. In fact, Robert even offered to provide his expertise regarding anything else that might peak our interest. How refreshing! As luck would have it, we truly liked the vehicle at Sam Swope the best but, truthfully, I WANTED to like it the best because of the friendly, no pressure, informative and outgoing sales team. :) Sam Swope's finance department was able to beat the pre-qualification rate that we had received at a lending institution, on top of it all. We were able to finalize on financing and drive the car home on Saturday afternoon without leaving the dealership. It was great! I would definitely recommend Sam Swope and specifically, Damon Hampton, to assist anyone with finding a vehicle. Thank you for an excellent car buying experience! More

Best experience at a Dealer I purchased a Jeep GC Laredo at a local dealer specializing in Jeeps several years ago. Thinking I would get a good deal I visited them this past Sat I purchased a Jeep GC Laredo at a local dealer specializing in Jeeps several years ago. Thinking I would get a good deal I visited them this past Saturday. We looked at at Heep that was kind of what I wanted, I told him the price I was trying to get at and he came back with a quote $170 over the monthly range I requested. He didn't budge on price, so I thanked him for his time and left. That night I saw Sam Swope advertised the same year/make/model vehicle with more options. That next day, a Sunday, I called the dealership and had an appointment with Damon in less than 45 minutes. By the time I arrived he had the Jeep through the car wash and ready to drive. Damon was a nice guy. We test drive on I-64, Gene Snyder, and residential areas - about 20-30 minutes. During that time I told him what I was looking for and what I could pay. When we got back, he quoted me a price that was close. We spoke a little more, I told him my bottom dollar, and he made it happen. In fact, after the financing he got my monthly payment $10 less than we agreed on. The whole process was comfortable, without pressure, and at no time did they make me feel like I my budgetary limits were beneath them. When everything was done, they topped me off with gas and I was on my way. When I got home, I crunched the numbers between what I would have paid at the first dealer and what I agreed to pay at Sam Swope with Damon: for the same Year/make/model, with MORE options, comparable mileage, and in better shape cosmetically (interior/exterior), I drove off the lot at Sam Swope saving over $5,000 than had I went with the first dealer. Lesson learned: next time I'm in the market, I'll go see Damon first. More
