Born in Tel Aviv, Israel he came to the United States at the age of 4. Dan grew up in the world of theater where his mother, the acclaimed Broadway actress, Mary Soreau and his father, a successful producer, taught him that although discipline and dedication to craft are keys to success that training and fun are indispensable to motivating a sales team to achieving its full potential. Dan relocated to Ocean County from New York in 1986. A graduate of Jackson Memorial High, he attended Berkeley College where he earned an Associate’s Degree in Business Management. Dan was great. He was very patient and showed us several cars. He was a very good salesman, not pushy, honest. This was by far was our best experience ever in buying a car. Lindsey Mulrain was so understanding to our needs and the price range we were looking for. She was never pushing us to buy right now when we said in our initial visit that we were just shopping. After we told Lindsey we were just shopping and getting ready to leave Mike Melendy came by to say hello and to make sure everything was ok. We told him we were just shopping and he was cool with that and told us if we have any questions to please call him or Lindsey. After shopping around we returned 5 days later to purchase the car. It was Lindsey's day off but she came in special for us to make it a smooth sale since we started with her. It was such a pleasure just to be able to buy a new car without any stress from the sales person. All the people at Pine Belt were a pleasure to deal with from the salesperson to finance person. Salesman Doug Barnes treated us very professionally, his knowledge of the Chevy Cruze is very good. He was very helpful in explaining features of car. My fiancé and I were in the market for a used car. We stopped into pine belt of Lakewood and were greeted by Kevin. He was very friendly and knowledgable of the cars on the lot. I've been buying cars for twenty years. I've never felt the need to participate in a review until now. I cannot express how truly great this experience has been. The friendliness of all the staff members was mind blowing...they were truly and genuinely friendly. I worked closely with Lindsey, our sales associate. She was attentive, thoughtful, and energetic. She listened to what I was looking for and provided me with a great selection of vehicles that would meet my need. She knew her way inside and out of the vehicles. She impressed me with her depth and breath of knowledge of the Chevy brand. There was no pressure what so ever, and I felt in control and at ease the entire time. Dan Ariel, the manager, was accommodating and provided me with one of the best deals I've ever made on a vehicle. I was not only sold on the car, but on the service and how the Pine Belt family made me feel like one of them. I noticed the same type of behavior by other sales staff working with other customers. I also noticed how clean and well lit the dealer was. It provided an ambiance which not only presents the cars in a great light, but the openness of the layout inside was instrumental in providing a calming and comfortable environment when working on a deal. an is truly the man an his leadership is evident in the professionalism of all of his staff. My name is Joyce Sherlock my salesmen were Kevin and David, I have to say that both went out of their way to find me a car. I couldn't walk the lot and Kevin found me the best car for my needs. I was buying a used car because of an accident and very stressed. But he took care to find a car I could afford.It needed repairs and they were taken care of as fast as possible and I was kept informed until they were done.
