Repairing their “repairs” after 4+ chances Can I give them zero stars? Brought my Jeep in for a water pump replacement. They didn’t put the radiator cap back on in the process. Unknowingly drov Can I give them zero stars? Brought my Jeep in for a water pump replacement. They didn’t put the radiator cap back on in the process. Unknowingly drove my “newly repaired” Jeep to dinner and came out to find all the coolant on the ground. Since there wasn’t coolant left I had to tow it back to the dealership. When I picked it up the second time I noticed they over-filled the coolant reservoir. When I took some coolant out I noticed they had used the wrong coolant to refill the system (mixed purple OAT in with my pink HOAT coolant). So I had to take it back a third time. For everyones information this mistake can cause head gasket failure (a $2000+ repair). When I took it in a third time the service writer (Alex) was extremely rude and told me I didn’t know what I was talking about. After getting another opinion from parts they found out I was right. Also told Alex I did NOT want technician 621 to repair my vehicle as he has screwed up twice and I was worried about him screwing up again (or seeking retribution for me finding his screw-ups). Got the system flushed and hoped that would be the end of it. Got my vehicle back that day to find not only had technician 621 worked on my vehicle against my wishes but they performed UNAUTHORIZED repairs. They did a recall and put dirty hand prints all through the interior of my car without asking for authorization. I just took my car home, deep cleaned the interior, and hoped that was the end of it. Finally, while doing my own oil change about 2-3 weeks after the repairs I found out they did not put all the bolts back in after doing one of the previous “repairs”. When I went in for a FOURTH visit to address the missing bolts Alex, the service writer, accused me of sabotaging my personal vehicle this time. When trying to talk to the service manager (there have been 3 people claim to be the service manager through this whole ordeal, first Bill, the Ed, then Dan) they basically told me more lies about how it wasn’t their fault. Spoke to the owner (Larry) and he didn’t care about any of this. Do yourself a favor and stay away. Your Jeep is likely to come out with all sorts of damage and issues that unless you’re a Jeep expert you won’t catch until its too late. Since they won’t take accountability for simple missing bolts don’t bet on them owning up for that $2000+ head gasket repair they cause... More

I have purchased 6 new Jeeps and one car in the p The main reason I have dealt with South Hills Chrysler/ Jeep is because of Sales Manager Jim Kostic. I have purchased 6 new Jeeps and one car in the past 15 years. All but one from South Hills Chrysler/Jeep. The one I didn’t buy there was because Jim Kostic left the dealership. I was glad to see he returned. Knowing that I would be dealing with Jim made the decision easy to purchase my new Jeep Compass from SHCJ. Also, I would like to mention the salesman that I worked with Troy Lafferty was great. Both personable and knowledgeable. He answered every question I had about a few different vehicles. Finally, I would like to mention that they have a great service department. Especially Service Manager Dan Chapman and Service Coordinator Geno Brown. They keep you informed and get you in and out. More

Terrible Dealership This is truly the worst dealership I have ever seen in my life. Never take a vehicle there for service. I purchased a 2019 Ram 1500 from here 3 mont This is truly the worst dealership I have ever seen in my life. Never take a vehicle there for service. I purchased a 2019 Ram 1500 from here 3 months ago and negotiated a tonneau cover into my deal. I was told the cover would be overnighted to the dealership. It did not come in until a month later. When I was finally able to take my truck up to have the cover installed I was told that it would only take 15-20 minutes. Two hours later they finally gave me my truck back and the cover looked horrible. I took the truck back up a week later to let them know my concern with it and they adjusted it, which took another hour and a half. They will lie to you at ever point during your visit. Last week I had to take my truck there for service again because the radio and self-parking feature were not working correctly. This was now the 3rd time in 3 months that I had to take this vehicle in for service. After I called to set up the appointment for the following week, I had to call 3 times before someone from the service department called me back to confirm the appointment and let me know I had a loaner car set up for me. They kept the truck for 8 days and I had to call everyday to find out when I could get my truck back. I was promised a loaner truck whenever I needed service and was given a Jeep Cherokee instead, which did not fit my lifestyle, especially when they had to keep my truck over the weekend. I called the GM, Larry, to voice my displeasure and he did nothing to help me out or ease my concerns with the dealership that he runs. He proceeded to yell at me when I got angry with his poor management and oversight of his dealership. I hope no one ever has to deal with this man because he is nothing but unreasonable. Never buy a vehicle from this dealership. One star is to many, but picked Zero stars is not an option. More

Absolutely terrible experience. I had an appointment for 9am. They provided me with a service loaner that they claimed had a full tank. It did not. I repeatedly asked how long the service would take and was told about 30-45 min. Around 1pm when I called them, I was told they were just starting on it and they would call me when it was done. No one clarified with me that if I didn’t wait, they wouldn’t work on it right away. When I contacted the service manager, he explained that it was my fault for not specifying my timeframe for. Ending the vehicle done. I was under the impression the 9am appointment would mean it would be worked on at 9am. In the end the service manager was terrible and never even said sorry for the confusion. So much for customer service. Absolutely terrible experience. I will recommend that anyone looking for a Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep, or Fiat go elsewhere. More
