Brakes for a 2012 Prius I scheduled a brake service to be performed after a recent oil change and inspection revealed that the original brakes on our Prius needed attention ( I scheduled a brake service to be performed after a recent oil change and inspection revealed that the original brakes on our Prius needed attention (160,000 miles on the first set of pads!). Got a quote and came to pick up the vehicle and found the bill to be over a hundred more than the quote. I showed this to the service rep along with the coupon I had for $60 off which would have made the total cost about $420. The rep explained to me that the quote I had been given was missing the labor charges on the rear brakes. I told him I felt I had been misled, and he understood. He spoke with the manager, and my bill was adjusted to $453. Not perfect, but they were willing to appease my disappointment with $130 off their original bill. Apparently they have a glitch in their computer system which left off the rear brakes labor portion in the original quote. I was pleased that they understood my frustration and were willing to do something about it. I've always been happy with the service I've received here. More
