Purchased a 2019 F-250 from this dealership on 12/17/21. This is the truck I was looking for so I flew down from Iowa, 1300 miles, and planned to drive it back. I was told this vehicle was CPO (Certified Pr This is the truck I was looking for so I flew down from Iowa, 1300 miles, and planned to drive it back. I was told this vehicle was CPO (Certified Pre-Owned) over text which was great news for me as a buyer. I was picked up from the airport and brought to the dealership and the first thing I noticed on the truck was how poor the condition was on the tires. I asked my sales guy what Ford's CPO requirement is for the tires, but he was unaware. I've already spent over $500 to fly down so backing out of the deal wasn't really an option at this point. On my 1300 mile drive home I had experienced the famous Ford "death wobble" multiple times, almost to where I didn't even think I'd be able to drive the truck home. I was very upset and concerned because this is a huge safety issue to have just hours after I left the dealership. I reached out to my sales guy and he said they stand behind their product and they would take care of me. This was reassuring as a buyer who flew 1300 miles to do business with them on a $60,000 truck... It is now 1/7/22 (The fastest I could get it into a dealer in my area) and I had them redo the certified inspection to make sure the truck was in fact looked over properly and address this death wobble. My dealer called and said the tires do not meet certification standards and that the truck shouldn't have been certified. I've attached images in this review to show the inspection done at my local dealership stating the tires are unevenly worn, gouge in the front passenger side tire, and the rears are at 4/32nds. I've also attached an image that has 2 checkboxes for the certified inspection which go over tread depth, and if it has normal tire wear, which this truck isn't even close to passing. Even the battery has corrosion on it, which was just sprayed over by a technician and not taken off with a wire brushed that would have taken only a few minutes. Thankfully I've already purchased a new set of aftermarket wheels and tires for this truck. I tired to hold the dealership accountable and have them pay for a new set of tires, however they wanted to split the cost and only replace the rears, which still isn't safe considering the gouge in the front tire. If you're in the market for a used vehicle, beware of the poor attention to detail and service this dealership offers while they blatantly lie to customers about a truck being inspected and certified.
