After compl VEHICLES MIGHT NOT HAVE A TITLE!🚩 I had an awful experience purchasing a 2022 Kia K5 GT-Line from King Kia of Laurel in October 2023. After completing all paperwork and taking delivery within a week, I expected the process to be straightforward. However, over a month later, I still hadn’t received my title. In December, I received a written notice from the MVA stating that the dealership failed to submit the correct, most recent title — they had submitted an outdated one instead. When I tried contacting my salesperson (Brandon Martinez), I discovered he no longer worked there. I then reached out to Derrick Showacre multiple times via email — no response. I even visited the dealership several times asking to speak with the title department, but could never reach anyone directly. When I finally met Steve York, the title representative, in March 2025, he showed no concern or accountability, telling me simply to “wait” because he outsourced most title work. Months passed with no updates. When I followed up again, he became visibly irritated, cut me off mid-conversation, and walked away telling me to “have a good day”. That’s how they treat a paying customer who’s been waiting months due to their error. It is ridiculous how someone at the dealership can just throw tamtrum at customers who had to experience various inconveciences because the dealership clearly violated written contracts which have legal effects. To this date, the issue is still unresolved and I STILL do not have my title. 🚩🚩🚩Customers who have legitimate requests are not treated with sincerity and basic respect at King Kia of Laurel. King Kia of Laurel has appalling customer service and zero accountability. They completely disappear once they’ve taken your money, leaving you to deal with the fallout. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! More

I was searching for a very specific vehicle, a 2020 Kia Sportage SX Turbo in Burnished Copper with all black interior. Several dealerships contacted me but didn't provide the right car or the right deal. Darrel was extremely patient and honest and I appreciated his tenacity and commitment to making sure this deal worked for me. I had a great customer experience in that I conducted this transaction almost entirely via text and email. During this COVID-19 pandemic, it was very important to me to adhere to the social distancing and shelter at home orders, this process made it easy to do just that. Then in my final request, I asked Darrel if the car could be delivered to my home and he obliged. You just can't beat that type of customer service! I was contacted by Natasha Jones, and sc I was in the market for a new vehicle and wanted to test a few before buying. The Telluride was on my list. I was contacted by Natasha Jones, and scheduled a test for the same day. I was met at the dealership by Natasha who introduced me to Darrel and I took the drive. All of my questions were answered and there was no sense of dishonesty or "salesmanship" in his responses. I felt like I was getting exactly what I wanted from my search. I returned with my family for another test drive, and Even helped us out. Again, no hard sale lines or pressure to do anything that we didn't already want to do. We left with no hassales or pressure to move forward. Although we did not purchase the vehicle, it was in no way due to the service of the staff. I won't even say why we didn't purchase to avoid including anything negative as it relates to my experience with this dealership. More

I initially went searching for a low mileage pre-ow My vehicle was recently totaled and I was in search of a new vehicle when I stopped by Laurel Kia. I initially went searching for a low mileage pre-owned vehicle of another make/model. Being accustomed to luxury vehicles (Lexus, Acura, BMW, etc.), I was looking right past Kia because their vehicles weren't "my style". After browsing a few pre-owned vehicles of other makes, my sales person (Pam Jackson) asked me what exactly was I looking for in my next vehicle as far as technology and features; I explained to her what I was looking for and she then said, "I wanna show you something", I begrudgingly obliged because I knew she wanted to show me Kia's and I was not interested. I'll keep it brief, but let's just say that when she started showing me some of Kia's offerings, I was impressed by the amount of technology and features that are in their vehicles. By the time it was all said and done, I ended up with a vehicle with all of the "bells and whistles" that I had become accustomed to in more expensive vehicles in a vehicle that was literally half the price of their more expensive competitors. The team at Laurel Kia (Pam Jackson, Darrel Lewis) made this one of the smoothest vehicle purchases that I have ever made. My advice to anyone in the market for a vehicle would be to check out a Kia before you write them off and go to the luxury brands..........you may be surprised at what Kia vehicles have to offer; I know I was!!!
