The odometer has been flashing since I drove off the lot because they never deactivated Ship Mode. Wireless CarPlay now drops every 30 seconds when it worked fine before. And while driving on I-94 by myself with no trailer attached, the dash flashed red and warned me the trailer had disconnected.
A safety recall repair that created a safety issue. Checked in fine, checked out broken in three new ways. Whoever worked on it didn’t bother to verify basic post-service function before handing the keys back.
1 star. Avoid their service department.

On January 22, 2026, I leased a 2026 Ram 1500 Big Horn, VIN 1C6SRFFT3TN212585. I spent the better part of a day at the dealership. The vehicle was listed on their website at $56,044 eight days before I signed. The agreed vehicle value in my signed lease contract is $64,299.83. That is a $8,255 difference. Using the standard lease formula, the math works out to $221.37 per month in overcharge and $8,633 over the 39-month lease term. I have the archived listing with my VIN confirmed. I have the signed contract. The numbers are not ambiguous.
At no point during the transaction was the selling price discussed or presented as negotiable. When I raised this concern with the sales manager, I received a voicemail citing the adjusted capitalized cost as the sale price. Those are separately defined line items in the Consumer Leasing Act Disclosures on page 1 of the contract. They are not the same number.
I sent a formal letter with supporting documentation to the General Manager and the President of Corwin Automotive Group via email and USPS certified mail on March 12, 2026, requesting a response by March 20, 2026. No satisfactory response was received.
I have since filed a complaint with the North Dakota Attorney General's consumer protection division. I have also shared this experience with local consumer media.
I have no complaint about the truck itself. I love the truck. My complaint is about a transaction where the selling price was never disclosed, a documented discrepancy of $8,633 was responded to with misrepresented contract terms, and good faith attempts to resolve it were ignored.
If you are considering leasing or purchasing here, know your numbers before you walk in. Understand the difference between MSRP, agreed vehicle value, and adjusted capitalized cost. Do not assume the price on their website is the price in your contract. And save everything.

Thank you for the response. For context, I have already reached out multiple times. I left two voicemails for Tim Russell in January with no callback. I sent a formal letter with supporting documentation via email and USPS certified mail on March 12, 2026 to both the General Manager and the President of Corwin Automotive Group. The certified mail was delivered and signed for. My response deadline of March 20 passed without any contact from your dealership. I have since filed complaints with the North Dakota Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division and the Better Business Bureau. I am happy to discuss resolution but the contact information you need has been in your possession since January.
Update 4/8/26: Following my original outreach, I filed a BBB complaint (ID 24684911). Corwin responded with a one-paragraph deflection from GM Darrin Wuollet. I submitted a detailed rebuttal citing the archived listing, the contract itself, and a voicemail from Corwin's own sales manager that directly contradicts Mr. Wuollet's position. Corwin's reply to my rebuttal was the identical paragraph, word for word, just copied/pasted. No engagement with any of the evidence. For anyone reading this: they have a canned response and no intention of addressing documented concerns.

They tried telling me that it was only a quart and a half low because the oil filter didn’t seal correctly and the cooling system was cracked. The only thing that came out with the dipstick was white smoke, there was no oil in the vehicle, which caused issues with the cam shaft and timing chains, but rather than take responsibility for the mess up, everything was put through my warranty, yet they jumped on paying the deductible, which was $100. My original oil change was more than that! They gave me a loaner vehicle that was covered in mud and while driving the check engine light came on, but I was told it’s ok as long as it’s not flashing. I had to have the windshield wipers changed and a tire fixed, on the loaner! I refused to continue driving that vehicle, so a rental was given to me from a local company. The updates on my vehicle where few and far between. They ended up having my vehicle for a month, so between the deductible and the rental, it’s still not half of the car payment I had to make on a vehicle I couldn’t drive, through no fault of my own. When I finally got my vehicle back, not even an I’m sorry about the issues, but hey atleast you got over $8,000 worth of new parts. Just an acknowledgment of the mess up, would have been great! I got my vehicle back on 10/23 and I have called the service manager and I’m still waiting for a return call, almost a month later.

I brought my vehicle in for a routine oil change appointment, and I’m very understanding, I get mistakes happen. I guess whoever did the oil change before this one, which was also done here, tightened the oil filter too much. Causing the cooler system to crack when they were trying to get it out. However, when the oil change was complete, the oil filter was not sealed correctly. Since I didn’t drive my vehicle until the next day, I had no idea that the oil was spraying all over from the filter. The amount of smoke that was coming from my vehicle and the oil coming out of the bottom was crazy. My son pulled out the dipstick and there was literally no oil on it at all.
However, I was told that the cam shaft issue wasn’t from this, yet I had no lights on or any other issues when I brought it in for service, so this makes no sense to me.
Yes, they did loan me a vehicle, however, I had to bring that in for new windshield wipers and there was a hole in the tire. On top of that, I was out of town when the check engine light came on. When I brought it back because of that, I was told that as long as it’s not flashing, it’s ok. I usually have my grandbabies with me and I’m not trying to get stuck on a road somewhere.
So then a van was rented for me from Avis, until my van was finished.
My biggest concern is that my van was there for a whole month because the parts were put through my warranty, yet the dealership paid the deductible, and paid for the rental, that I only had for 3 days. I on the other hand had to pay my car payment for a vehicle I couldn’t drive, do to an issue that was not my fault. When I got there to pick up my vehicle, I was told that I should be happy that I have over $8,000 in new parts. Not I’m sorry for the inconvenience or even a free oil change. Since I originally paid for the oil change to begin with, so all in all, I’ve paid more for this mistake than the people who actually caused it. It’s just not fair!

Since this was from November and I’ve yet to hear anything from anyone, I think it’s safe to say that I will not be using this dealership again. A simple acknowledgment of the issue would have made this situation easier to deal with.

After having a few issues, they refuse to make it right unless I put a stop payment on the check and then they were ready to help. Did not receive one single callback from Darryn the general manager after leaving multiple message is for him and the receptionist saying he was in the office every day. Joey was very rude and condescending as well and loves to talk over people. After five days of trying to get a hold of Darryn I stopped in the dealership and he said he received my messages but had no intentions of calling me back. He was very cocky and condescending and basically asked me to leave the dealership when I brought up my concerns to him. He said he had no intentions of returning any phone calls and that he didn't need to. I expect way more out of a general manager than the crappy, rude, and downright condescending attitude that these gentlemen have towards their customers. I would highly recommend avoiding working with them if possible as most of their negative reviews state the same issues that we have had. My dad who is also part of the transaction also left multiple messages for Darryn with zero calls back from him as well. Will definitely be contacting jeep corporate
