Used Car Purchase We weren't a huge fan of the salesman who helped us, but that didn't stop us from making our purchase and we felt we got a good deal. unethical financing My daughter and I financed a Honda with Manly finance guy Dave Sambad, he was a slippery character from the start, I He originally told us one paymen My daughter and I financed a Honda with Manly finance guy Dave Sambad, he was a slippery character from the start, I He originally told us one payment and with the warranty it would increase only $30.00 a month, sounds reasonable? but what he failed to disclose was he changed the loan form 5 year term to a 6 year term, this was a deal breaker, I stepped out of his office, and he proceeded to sell my daughter a warranty that fixed dings too, and windshield and wheel repairs, but after reading all the fine print, it is so limited its not worth the effort, and we might have to pay for the repairs up front and seek reimbursement later! I called to cancel everything and now all I get is Daves double tongue excuses and promises. After a week I learned that Dave pulled my daughters credit 10 times, 3 of the 10 were after the deal was closed, and one that was pulled 5 days later! her credit will plummet with those pulls, I called everybody on the food chain at Manly and received no answers to this practice. its unheard of pulling credit with 10 different companies!!!! Im sure zither CFPB will want to know more about this practice. Ive contacted an attorney that will be checking into a remedy on ruining my daughters credit and unethical business practices. 3 days after buying that car, I bought another at the Jeep dealership in Napa, and the experience was completely opposite, low pressure, transparency , and honesty, I'm a loss for words! More
