Poor service, missing pieces, broken truck Came for a new Tacoma, ended up with a truck I hate driving. After not receiving the canopy I bought with the truck, having the drivers seat replaced, Came for a new Tacoma, ended up with a truck I hate driving. After not receiving the canopy I bought with the truck, having the drivers seat replaced, and having transmission problems that the dealership couldn't fix, the dealership told me that Toyota is working on a software fix for the terrible transmission problems that the vehicle is having. ETA? No idea. The dealership systematically tried to avoid fixing the vehicle, didn't call me back, and finally claimed that the transmission problems Toyota is trying to fix weren't actually problems. End result: big talk from the dealership about looking out for the customer but no follow through. Beware of this place. More

I was thinking of another, my third Corolla, but I found out that the good looking and roomier Scion was essentially a hatchback Corolla. It is more a versatile vehicle with a better and more useful size. I traded in two vehicles, checked thoroughly their trade in value, and I was pleased that the price I set was accepted. I was happy and they made a worthwhile sale. Hats off to Kenny Khazam and David Elder! This is the fifth Toyota I purchased from this dealership! Thank you. I also want to mention the service dept. always do needed service or repairs to my Toyotas. More

The best again I didn't plan to buy a car when I went in for an oil change but Khzam was so honest and helpful and objective that the whole process was so painless. He showed me all the options and gave me the best deal. I always felt that each decision was mine and there was no pressure or upselling. He was respectful of my budget. They are out to earn money for themselves I don't remember the persons name that helped me when I bought my 2009 Toyota Prius, but I remember it was a good interaction and I thought that I got I don't remember the persons name that helped me when I bought my 2009 Toyota Prius, but I remember it was a good interaction and I thought that I got everything that I paid for. Not even a year later when I had to make a choice of getting rid of my Prius or face repossession, I decided to trade in my Prius and my wife's Rav4 for another car at a different dealer. The reason for my poor review is because of the Finance person that I worked with. He is the first door to the right of the main desk in the lobby on the North Side. When I was attempting to trade in my vehicle and see what cancellables were available to me is where I found all the lies and deceit. First thing was that they changed the price of my car from when my wife and I first applied for finance to a higher price that was so well done that we didn't notice the $1,000 change. Second was that I was suppose to have a Toyota Warranty for my vehicle and I found out it was a non-Toyota warranty called National which doesn't cover near as much as the Toyota warranty that I was promised to have. After the trade was complete and I returned to Gladstone Toyota, the finance person that I mentioned above made up a number he felt was fitting for me to cancel my warranty. I even asked what is an estimate of what I was going to get back and how much was the original purchase price since the shades were over my eyes for a year. He said you'll get about 20-30% back and eluded to the actual price I paid for. While still working with him and he asked me why I wanted to cancel the warranty. I informed him that I traded the vehicle at a different dealership closer to home. He got really upset and even stated, "why didn't you come buy from us". He then did something on the computer that printed out a form that I wasn't able to see and when asked he wouldn't show me. Frustrated I called the warranty company and asked what did they need for a correct odometer reading. The company informed me that I should have received a odometer disclosure from trade. Sure enough I did and the difference from what the finance person came up with and the actual amount that I told him it was around was over 750 miles off. What I told him was about 100 miles at most off. I would seriously think again about working with Gladstone Toyota. They have been shady with my family since we got our Camry from them. Side note: I did not work with David, but I needed to choose a name. More
