At this point all this is moot. After our fiasco I called up the Mazda USA rep who I had been dealing with and they directed me to try Garden City Mazda. I live in Massapequa Park so I went to Garden city reluctantly. They took the car in, got all the recalls done, the oil change I wanted and did a video inspection for Mazda. Meanwhile the Mazda USA rep called Doreen who replied that I was lying and never showed up for my appointment. Supposedly Doreen said I had another appointment in two weeks. That after waiting two weeks for the first appointment. I got all of these glowing reports about your dealership from my co-workers Tom Vu and Kim Hui both of whom bought new vehicles from you last year. Kim bought not one but two CX90's so it seemed like a no brain-er for me. I even took a test drive last summer of a CX5 with David Chiari and was contemplating pulling the trigger on a brand new one for my daughter to go to college with. But then I run into this. I can't figure out whether your service department is just plain dis-functional or you guys were spooked by the fact my car has a rebuilt title and did not want to get involved. In any event Garden City was happy to take my money for the 15K mile service and got it done the same day. In addition under the direction of Mazda USA they did all the recalls. They ubered me home when I dropped it off at 7:00am and ubered me back to pick it up that night. If you are uncomfortable working on my car because you did not sell it to me or don't like the rebuilt title then so be it but it would be far more convenient for me not having to drive to Garden City every time I need dealer specific service.
