The problem that I had was that he wanted to close the deal by the end of the month. I was fine with that because that was what I wanted too. I have a strict schedule between work and family. My salesman and I set an early appointment time to review the numbers and to purchase the vehichle. I filled the credit app out prior to my visit, had pay stubs, insurance information, honorable discharge paperwork, and trade-in pay off information readily available. I arrived at the dealership at 0845 and left at 1315. I realize that the end of the month is important but if I am going to be pressured into closing the deal on an inconvient day your dealership should have their ducks in a row. The delays where really simple to prevent. I had to wait for my car to be detailed, filled up, to fill out more paperwork, and then had to return to get my registration/ temp tag !! At each step of filling out my paperwork I feel that there was another scam waiting to happen. I ended up buying some stupid warranty for over thousand dollars because I was half asleep. Who wants the wrap around 100,000 interior warranty? I guess I do because I'm the proud owner of one. I specifically asked my sales man prior to my mother in law leaving how much longer and can the total change from what it is now. He replied no and soon. Try three hours later with an increase of price of 1800 dollars. In pure exhaustion from being up all night and now half the day I remebered while driving home my sticker on my plate was going to expire the following day. I then backed up and had to wait another half an hour to get a temp tag. Needless to say when I arrived at my 1845 shift I was beat. Please contact me if you have any questions about my feed back. I was pre-approved by my Credit Union before buying the car and Hyundai of St. Augustine actually beat my Credit Union's rate, so I financed with them. I was impressed by the way I was treated and the honesty of the staff. These days, this is hard to find in car dealerships. I surely will be back when looking for my next car. The Elantra drives phenomenal, like a much larger car. Quiet ride and great fuel efficiency. Got 44.3 mpg on my way home from St. Augustine to Lakeland/FL. Great looking and driving car! Thanks More

The day we went to Hyundai of St Augustine we were expecting to test drive and research further a new 2011 Santa Fee for my mother-in-law. However after getting to the dealership and being greeted by expecting to test drive and research further a new 2011 Santa Fee for my mother-in-law. However after getting to the dealership and being greeted by the owner who immediately provided us with a courteous and knowlegible sales person we became excited about the process. Additionally, the dealership had on the lot (in the showroom) the exact color Santa Fee and options my mother-in-law was interested in. After test driving the Santa Fee and working directly with the dealership owner/management to finalize our sale in hindsight it was one of the most pleasant car buying experiences we have ever had. We would definitely recommend to anyone using this dealership to purchase of Hyundai. More

I contacted a salesman by the name of Demetrius Davis over the telephone and he explained everything to me after I told him what I wanted and the price I was willing to pay for the vehicle. After calling me back 3 times we made a deal over the phone. The next day I went to the dealership expecting to be told a different price arrangement (because I experienced it with another dealership) but as it turned out I was more than satisfied that the arrangement to complete the sale was more than satisfactory. I would highly recommend ths dealership and especially this salesman Demetrius Davis and his Manager Jimmy Feliciano and would certainly buy from them again. More

My husband fell in love with the Sonata outside of a Publix one day, and was insistent on making it work for us! We had a large SUV to trade towards a lease on a new Sonata. We knew exactly what we wanted and how much we could pay, and Demetrius and Andrew made it work for us! They didn't pressure us to spend more than we could, there were no hard sales, none of the obnoxious going back and forth with the manager, getting to see if he "could" lower the price. It was definitely a pleasurable experience, and it's a wonderful car. The length of time it took was pretty average to get everything worked out(I've been through longer and I've been through shorter), but we drove our new Sonata home the same day. I highly recommend these guys!!! More

As you know most of the time new car and used car salesmen kind of have a reputation. Not these guys, in my mind they were not car salesman they were gentelman and very polite and made me feel at home and comfortable. No high pressure sales tactics. We had some good time personal conversations and had a lot of fun with our salesman Demetrius. When we were sitting at our salesman's desk my wife said to him that she thought it was a little warm and stuffy and the salesman said I will take care of that and it was not long until you could feel the air and it got very comfortable in no time at all. The whole facility was very clean and comfortable. Every body there was very friendly. So to sum it up it was a very plesant and enjoyable new car purchase experience. I absolutely loathe car sales people, even more than lawyers. But, I was pleasantly surprised when I came in to the Hyundai dealership in St. Augustine, Florida. I was looking for a car with my daughter lawyers. But, I was pleasantly surprised when I came in to the Hyundai dealership in St. Augustine, Florida. I was looking for a car with my daughter, went into several dealerships in the area, and were met with the high pressured, fake smiling, jerks, exactly who we expected to meet. But, when we went into the St. Augustine dealership, our salesman Demetrius Davis, was totally different. He was friendly and ready to listen to us. He gave us several options and let us make our own decisions, and not try to pressure us. I am not saying that Hyundai was our first choice when we were thinking of getting a car, but Demetrius made our experience so good, we knew it was the best choice. If you are going to buy a new (or used) car, do not waste your time, just go see this man. More
