I scheduled a routine maintenance for my Rav4, but also made a note that there is an issue with the rain sensing wipers (they have not worked since I purchased the car). I then mentioned it to the technic made a note that there is an issue with the rain sensing wipers (they have not worked since I purchased the car). I then mentioned it to the technician. I waited at the dealership which was laid out so that I could work while I waited. The service was completed quickly but the advisor mentioned that they don't have a way to test the wipers and asked me to send a video... I thought that all you need to do is spray water on the windshield and you will see they don't come on. But I said ok... I will go through the carwash and take a video showing the automatic wipers do not come on- thinking that would be a hint since I had been offered a car wash after the service. The advisor was friendly but I assume maybe just didn't want to spend extra time on someone that was there for an included service. More
