Devin was great sales person to work with as I was buying my car. As with all dealerships, be careful about the financing portion. I definitely ended up agreeing to things that I did not want because I was t my car. As with all dealerships, be careful about the financing portion. I definitely ended up agreeing to things that I did not want because I was too exhausted from the work week and from being in a bad car accident. I did not realize how agreeing to some of those things were going to effect my loan. Final pricing needed to be clearer on the finance side. Luckily I was able to remove the most expensive stuff. Definitely ask about what is cancellable and what is not. I'm extremely happy with my car though! More

I recently purchased A used Hyundai sedan from the dealership. It made it less than 25 miles before the check engine light came on and coming to find out the engine needed to be replaced by Hyundai. I purchased a used 2021 Toyota Highlander Limited from Corwin Toyota - Boulder on 10/31/23. The entire purchasing process, from initial contact to "driving the car off the lot" was an extremely stress-free and positive experience. I can't wait until dealers like this (or at least the salespeople if it's not a systemic problem) are GONE. It's extremely rare for me to send an email with expletives to a salesperson (and their boss) salespeople if it's not a systemic problem) are GONE. It's extremely rare for me to send an email with expletives to a salesperson (and their boss) but Devin told me nothing but lies and wasted my daughter's time and mileage (45 mile round to collect nothing but blatant lies). He lied about their willingness to go below MSRP. HE INITIALLY CONTACTED ME saying they were now ready to do just that. He lied about there being no add-ons or accessories. I gave him the vin and a very accurate description of the trade and he came in many thousands below that and didn't even add in the so called $1000 trade assistance. We pretty much had a deal worked out and he got us to come in before the end of the month even though the car she wanted is still a week out. After lying to us and wasting my daughter's time, we ended up nearly EIGHT THOUSAND DOLLARS APART. That is not possible with ANY level of honest and good faith. It doesn't get worse than this, folks. If his boss fixes this I'll revise or remove this review so if you're reading it, the problem still exists. More

I bought a Toyota yesterday and have been sobbing for hours since. Why does car buying have to be like this? They do all the worst things you've ever heard about car salesman except since they do this ev hours since. Why does car buying have to be like this? They do all the worst things you've ever heard about car salesman except since they do this every day, they have refined the art of screwing you over so well that, even if you are prepared, even if you KNOW the tricks, you will still end up falling for their bullsh*t. Of course every salesman at Corwin was PERFECTLY polite and amiable. Friendly to the max. They all pretend like they are your best friend, out for YOUR interests (lol.) I mostly worked with Devin who was nice enough but didn't ever tell me any actual useful information and who mysteriously had other customers at our agreed-upon time. So I worked with Luis (nice bait and switch) who kindly stacked on random fees, treated his inflated offer like it was final and gave my request for some wiggle room the slightest nod. "We're charging you 7% above MSRP for no reason, but oh, since you asked, and we CARE about you as a customer, I guess I'll 'go check with my manager' and sorry, can only knock $250 off." If you want a popular car, there's nothing you can do (except not buy the car.) So you have to sit and take the financial beating. And just when you think the humiliation is over, they put you in ANOTHER room with ANOTHER salesman (military dude Jason B) who is all like "I'm not going to sell you things you don't need, I'm just a regular guy." And I think I spent like 30 minutes saying "no", but he just kept at it (I was already SUPER late for a dinner date, so I recommend never having plans to do anything after but cry in your new car the day you decide to buy -- of course, was asked to come in same day, so not like I could plan for it. The process WILL take 4-6 hours for no good reason. I was waiting over an hour in between salesmen. Probably because everyone has to say "no" a hundred times so the line backs up.) But I was so exhausted and worn down and needed to get on with my night, that I let him talk me into something I could barely afford (and didn't notice until too late that there was something else on the list that I hadn't asked for-and definitely didn't want-that apparently Luis mentioned in passing) and now I'm just beating myself up over it. I will pay for those mistakes every month for the next several years. I can curse Corwin all I want but they don't care. If you want a Toyota, you have no choice. They will take advantage of you because they can. Most companies have upped their decency game, but Corwin uses the same slimy tactics. Going in prepared will only help a little. I recommend giving yourself some time to heal from the emotional wounds and helplessness after dealing with them. Luis, you are a master salesman, congratulations on your fine skills at manipulating people. I love that you started the conversation by saying "I'm new at this." I did leave with the car that I wanted, so there's that? More
