Sales and Service Department Excellent/Financing Sucks Your sales crew were very good. Mallory Zepeda was outstanding. She was helpful and knowledgeable. The rest of your sales team were good too. They were of course trying to make a deal, but listened and respected the decisions we - my son and law and I - made. I felt good with the final deal. At that point my son in law left, since there was just signing left to do. Things went downhill quickly from there. I got my zip code wrong on my paperwork, and Vic the finance person sent Mallory to let me know it was wrong. She was sweet about it. She knew I was nervous making such a big purchase. But Vic kept bringing it up and left me feeling stupid. I went to finance thinking the negotiating was over and I was signing paperwork and instead was confronted by a pushy salesman who wouldn't take no for an answer. After a long time of listening to him, I was so stressed out that I just purchased what he wanted me to. I told him that I probably wouldn't keep all the things he added, and I didn't. Which meant I had to drive all the way from Salem to Gladstone the next day to resign the paperwork. The finance person that assisted with the new paperwork was fine to work with, but Vic ruined the entire experience for me. I give Mallory Zepeda a 5 star rating, the rest of the sales team a 4 star rating, and Vic a 1 star. He is awful. More

Terrific Customer Service In late July, my wife and I returned our leased Sienna and purchased a 2013 BMW X5. It was known to have a defective hatch control, so a few days late In late July, my wife and I returned our leased Sienna and purchased a 2013 BMW X5. It was known to have a defective hatch control, so a few days later, was taken to service for repair. Gladstone Toyota supplied a rental for us during the time of repair. Unfortunately, repair took longer than anticipated so when we were informed that it was ready for pickup, we were out of town fulfilling an obligation made a year ago. We then received the message that because our car was ready, the dealership will no longer cover the rental. This really upset us because others were depending on us to chaperone a group of youths, so we couldn’t just leave to get our car! We then spoke to Mr. Joe Chambers, who without any debate whatsoever, assured us that the dealership will cover the rental totally. When we returned to town, we proceeded to Gladstone Toyota to pickup our car, and true to Mr. Chambers word, there was no rental charge or argument. Now, here’s where it gets interesting! While I was getting the paperwork and keys, my wife spotted a used Highlander in the lot. It was not present when we bought the BMW, and it was just the vehicle we were initially looking for! We spoke to Mr. Denis Russu (who we worked with on our initial purchase) and he said as crazy as it sounds, he’ll see what could be done to get us into the Highlander! Ultimately, through the generous dealings by Ms. Angel Grose and Mr. Dolf Nuno (both of whom we worked with on the initial purchase) we were happily driving out with the Highlander! Those four people, Mr. Russu, Ms. Grose, Mr. Nuno and Mr. Chambers, turned a potentially unpleasant experience into one that I will forever remember as terrifically positive! We cannot say enough about those folks with whom we were blessed to have met. Gladstone Toyota should be very proud of them and be thankful to have them as employees! More

Best experience buying a car ever. My salesman Eric K. was just great. He explained between the different models of the RAV4 and helped me pick out the one that was right for me. I had a great experience @ Toyota of Gladstone I had a great experience working with Wade Fish at buying our new Highlander. He was helpful the entire time. Purchasing my Toyota Highlander McKayla was the lady that I purchased my Highlander XL . I was the first person to buy a car from her. Even though she was new with the product she McKayla was the lady that I purchased my Highlander XL . I was the first person to buy a car from her. Even though she was new with the product she was very professional and if she could not answer the questions I asked McKayla found someone to answer the questions. As time goes on I feel she will be an wonderful asset to your Toyota of Gladstone. McKayla is eager to learn and give that professional class to the job. The other three gentle men I want to mention is Nick Niemeyer who answered many questions, Vince Gillam who also answered questions and Dolf Nuno who helped with the financing. Every time I walk into the dealership theses employees greet me with respect, friendly, and caring. More

Helpful, Flexible, and Aggressively Competitive on Price We just completed our purchase yesterday (Tuesday) and we could not be more pleased with Denis Russu and his team. We contacted every Toyota Dealersh We just completed our purchase yesterday (Tuesday) and we could not be more pleased with Denis Russu and his team. We contacted every Toyota Dealership in the area and in the end only Gladstone and Tonkin lived up to their promises of working hard to offer us the best deal. Denis contacted us promptly after we reached out through the quote button on Toyota.com. He was quick to adapt his approach when we requested that we maintain communications through email (the best way to fit my busy life and to share accurate info with my wife). Denis provided a decent initial quote, but he and Toyota of Gladstone truly showed their colors when I asked them to see if they could beat a quote from Tonkin Toyota. Denis had Sunday and Monday off, but his managers (Seth Dustin & Charity Graff) picked up and handled my requests seamlessly. I was very impressed that they consistently kept up with my requests and the momentum of where we were headed. Tuesday morning I sent Denis the offer from Tonkin that we felt we would be taking. To our pleasant surprise Denis and his management took us very seriously and came up with a great price with the add-ons we wanted for free. On top of it all Denis drove to our home to pick us up and bring us to the dealership. He was friendly and courteous. At our request he worked through the sales process quickly. Denis and the finance gentleman (Dolf Nuno) kindly accepted our decline of their upgrades or warrantees without any annoying pushing. All in all, the whole process was smooth and relatively quick. Everything was as promised via email. The car and options were exactly as described. The out the door costs were exactly as detailed via email. In short, we are very pleased with our decision and we will return to Denis and Toyota of Gladstone for our next purchase. More

Easy Breezy Car Purchases After having visited 3 dealerships and communicating with several others over the week, I was so glad Kristin DeMars was our salesperson. She actually listened to what we had to say, offered workable alternatives that were truley geared towards our wants and needs. There wasn't pressure to get buy unwanted extras, but instead truly sold me on the extras by demonstrating and explaining their value, thus making me want them. We easily turned in a leased car a few months early, leased a new car, and purchased a new car all in the same day with Kristin and the team at Gladstone, even with a toddler in tow. The finance and paperwork was the quickest I have ever experienced when buying a car. Both new cars are fantastic and best of all I'm not stressed out about how to keep the toddler entertained on future service visits since the main lounge area has clear sight lines into the fantastic, completely enclosed, kids play room. More
