I went to Fred Anderson Toyota and explained that i had found a specific vehicle out state that i wanted to purchase. Within an hour the staff had confirmed that they had acquired the vehicle and that it should be delivered in a week or so. The sales person kept me informed of the process and the vehicle actually arrived earlier than expected. The dealership gave me a good deal on the vehicle and on the trade-in. The dealership exceeded my expectations throughout the process, especially the salesperson Faye Bustos. More

A Pleasant Used Car Buying Experience-Charlie Bodine Charlie Bodine was actually the third person to help me when I visited Fred Anderson in Charleston. I was a little hesitant, at first, since the first person to show me around the lot pointed out cars that were out of our desired price range. Charlie brought things down to where I was looking, and we started test-driving. He communicated in a dialogue, instead of just talking at me, as was my experience at some dealerships in North Charleston. Though I didn't find the right car, initially, I kept looking, and Charlie was attentive to my text inquiries; responding in a timely and professional manner. It probably took nearly a month for me to settle on something that was a good choice for my wife to drive to work every day, but when I did, Charlie made it convenient (we ALL have busy schedules) and efficient. The only kink in the experience had to do with finance, as I wasn't aware that there was a minimum required amount for financing. The terms were not very appealing, so I just paid the entire amount. We have had the car for a week, now, and my wife loves it. I would (and will) definitely recommend Charlie Bodine to others, as he knows his product, listens actively, and he is just, generally, a good guy who made me feel like I was shopping for a car with a friend instead of a salesman. More

During my entire time (I ordered a car which took a month) I never had to follow up with him for status or details. To re-emphasize, I very much appreciated his attention to details without ANY follow-up from me. Don (sales manger) is very straightforward manager without any pressure to buy a car. He's very respectful of the individual and he gave me the "bottom-line" price "up front" (see later comment). Alesia (finance manger) was most helpful to me in deciding which finance and warranty route to take. She is thorough and extremely knowledgeable. She presented a multitude of options, offering the pros and cons of each. All three individuals were as professional, courteous and knowledgeable as I could have hoped to encounter. And the price? I shopped 6 dealerships and only one other one was competitive. But... because of the excellent treatment I received at this dealership, my decision was an easy one. As previously stated, Don provided the bottom line price at the beginning, without all the "back and forth" car customers usually endure at most dealerships. Many "thanks" to all three! More

Very patient and attentive to our wants and needs for a vehicle. Steven Rhoads was the mastermind in locating the truck we wanted. He expedited getting what we wanted, brought it in from another Fred Anderson location. Our price was one that no other dealer could beat on a new 2019 Tundra. Antwoine Taylor was our sales professional, he was quick with any answers to questions. Don is a total professional all the way with the Sales Management team. And Ryan in the Finance department has the patience and experience to answer all questions and does not rush you through the paperwork process. This is the car dealership for people that "don't like car dealerships". If you are leery of fast talking, salesman, bait and switch tactics, and cheesy antics witnessed at other dealerships. You will not find that at Fred Anderson Toyota. Real Folks, Genuine Professionals, a great experience at this dealership.
