Don was born and raised in Baltimore, MD but has lived on the Eastern shore most of his life. He comes to us from an extensive retail background and is customer driven. Don likes to spend his free time with his wife, two children and their dog Rex. In his spare time Don is an active member at his Church, loves to work on cars, and when not working outside or around the house he is supporting his hometown football team the Baltimore Ravens.

No pressure throughout the buying experience I was looking for a used car for my daughter for her senior year of high school, we went on a Sunday to scout out potential vehicles. We found one. On I was looking for a used car for my daughter for her senior year of high school, we went on a Sunday to scout out potential vehicles. We found one. On Wednesday afternoon , I went there to discuss with a salesperson, (Don Scullen) and my daughter came down to look at the car. We found out she was to short for it. Don then showed us another vehicle, a crossover SUV, my wife and I wanted safety as the most important feature, we found that vehicle. We went in and started talking about what I wanted to spend and I really couldn't go above. I said I had to leave for work and he said ok, and I left. He didn't pressure me to stay or get my phone number and that was that. I came back the next day after doing research that night before (Kelley Blue Book) and we worked on the deal. Two times with him and the sales manager and we got it done, once again, no pressure. Drove off the lot in two hours all done, the best buying experience for me ever. More

It took 3 visits, and multiple test drives of both the Forester and Outback before we choose the 2017 Forester. Don was patient and pleasant throughout the process. He even made the negotiation process simple and enjoyable. For our next vehicle we will return to Gateway!! More

The BEST Subaru dealership I've ever worked with! I went into Gateway knowing exactly what I wanted and knew I would have to order it. They offered to just order if for me but I wanted to meet the peo I went into Gateway knowing exactly what I wanted and knew I would have to order it. They offered to just order if for me but I wanted to meet the people that I would be dealing with so I made the trip down from central Delaware to Gateway. I met with Don Scullen, he is very friendly, knowledgeable and gave me the best deal hands down. I didn't even feel the need to negotiate the initial price I was given. I waited for my car since it was custom ordered and I was kept informed throughout the entire process. I was very pleased with the overall experience at Gateway Subaru, I think it is great that they support local car enthusiasts and as long as I'm in this area there is no other Subaru dealership that will be getting any business from us. If you live within a couple hundred miles of Gateway and you're looking at a Subaru, make the drive! You'll be glad you did! More

We were very impressed with their Service Department and the overall feel of the business...employees appeared happy, were helpful and the areas were clean and well lit. Thus we worked with a salesman there to select and acquire our new vehicle. An overall pleasant experience! Don, our salesman, was excellent. He knew his product, answered all questions and gave an honest opinion about some of my concerns. I am disabled and multiple trips to the dealership would have been difficult....so Don was great about calls and emails to facilitate my selection and purchase. More

Don even came to a competitor dealership to pick my family and I up to close the deal with Gateway. Renee was very genuine and honest in helping get us the best financing to meet my families budget.
