I purchased a used Honda CR-V in February 2025 for $15,000. Before I even bought the vehicle, the dealership placed four used tires in the trunk and told me not to open it. When I attempted to open the trunk, it wouldn’t budge. After moving the tires, it was clear the trunk itself was broken. This felt misleading and should have been disclosed upfront.
The salesman acknowledged the issue and promised the trunk would be fixed at no cost. I was given an IOU form confirming this. I brought the car back a few weeks later, the dealership said it was repaired, and I tested it multiple times before leaving.
A few months later, the trunk stopped opening again. Since then, I have called multiple times and left detailed voicemails explaining the issue and referencing the prior repair and written promise. No one has returned my calls.
Selling a vehicle with a known defect, failing to fix it properly, and then completely ignoring the customer afterward is unacceptable. I regret doing business here and strongly advise others to be cautious.

Thank you for your reply. I appreciate the outreach, however I want to clarify that I have already made multiple attempts to resolve this directly. I have called several times and left detailed voicemails outlining the issue with the trunk and referencing the prior repair and written promise, but I have not received a return call.
I am more than willing to speak with a member of your management team, but I will need someone to proactively reach out to me, as my previous attempts have gone unanswered. I am hopeful this can finally be addressed and resolved.
