It was added onto my loan and I was never told that I would be paying for it or how much I would be paying. When I bought the car I did not realize there was an issue with the AC, right after purchase I had to bring my car in and have the air condenser replaced. After it was replaced I felt like there was still something wrong with the car so I brought it back and the service department was less than helpful. They said that I would be wasting my time as they did not think there was anything wrong with it still. They also said that they felt I would be better off going somewhere else because they don't usually work on the brand of car I have and said their mechanics may not be very knowledgeable when it comes to my car. He also stated that they get "screwed" by warranties and it made me feel like they just did not want to deal with my car as they wouldn't be making money off of fixing it. I had to take off work just for then to tell me that. I have "free" oil changes with them and I honestly would rather not use their service department again. I spent almost 20,000 on this car and was treated like garbage. My last issue is that they stated they would replace my wind sheild and I had to go in twice and call multiple times to get the process going. After two months I finally got my windsheild replaced. I feel like it should not have taken that much effort and that long to get it replaced. Overall I would not buy another car from this dealership again. More

Let me start by saying: I Love Toyota Vehicles. I hate Corwin Toyota Colorado Springs. Corwin is too overgrown and does not take into consideration "the little guy" when dealing their vehicles. I I hate Corwin Toyota Colorado Springs. Corwin is too overgrown and does not take into consideration "the little guy" when dealing their vehicles. I have driven over 1 million miles in Toyota vehicles having owned 6-7 of them for over 30 years. In having bought them and serviced them at numerous Toyota Dealers throughout the country, I must say that Corwin Toyota of Colorado Springs is the WORST I have every dealt with in getting my purchase into my possession (for a used vehicle). I moved to La Junta Colorado for work from King Salmon Alaska around the end of July 2021. I saw a 1995 T100 available online for $6k. Sounded okay for me for a work truck, so I went there with to buy it. I drove it around the lot a little bit and decided to purchase the truck, with cash in hand. It took me over 2 hours to see the finance manager to give him a check to buy the truck. Yes, I still had to see the finance guy to pay cash. During the sales process I pointed out that there were cracks in the windshield, a safety issue and it needed to be replaced, as well the spare tire was well worn, again a safety issue, and needed to be replaced, also the check engine light was on, and I wanted to see what that was about. Cody, the salesman, was cool about it and said that “there is a little issue that our service team wants to look at”. At which, I was fine with. He asserted that the issues I pointed out would be looked at and be noted as being corrected or stated in my final paperwork. As I live in La Junta and I work through the week, I would give them 2 weeks to look at the vehicle then I would be back to pick it up on a Saturday when they were still open. Oh, was I wrong. After day 10 (of 14 agreed upon days) I called Cody to see if I could pick it up on the next Saturday due to my work schedule, and he could not give me an answer. He said he would try to contact the maintenance manager AJ and would give me a call later. So, I waited, and after 3 weeks, I still hadn’t heard back as to the status of my vehicle, I called again and was immediately referred to voice mail which was never returned. Finally, 4 weeks after I bought (in cash) my vehicle, I got a call from AJ saying that they were having difficulty diagnosing my trucks issues and that some of the connecting plugs to the transmission were bent and needed to be fixed and that he would take care of that due to the fact that I didn’t have a ride from La Junta to Colorado Springs at the time, he would arrange to deliver the truck to me in La Junta. So, low and behold, after waiting for AJ’s freaking delivery, I was finally able to arrange a ride to get back to Colorado Springs and pick up my truck (no, they didn’t deliver it as they said they would, nor did they replace the windshield, nor did they replace the spare tire, as they said they would) and being very fed up with the whole process, I drove the truck off the lot. I got about 1 mile away and the dashboard lit up like a Christmas tree which tells me that the service department did absolutely nothing in the 3 weeks prior to my purchase or the 4 weeks after my purchase to make my truck was safe or reliable after purchase. Over the past 2 weeks since I have had my truck in my possession, I have invested $300 and 6 hours of my time to make it runs right and is a safe and reliable vehicle on the road, so I don't kill someone. I am still waiting on my windshield to be replaced, BUT THEIR GUY IS SUPPOSED TO CONTACT ME (xxxxing NOT yet!:over 2 weeks later). It's not that I am complaining about my needing to take care of the issues, it is that the dealer said they would take care of some of them, then held my truck for a freaking month, with doing nothing than resetting the error messages until I got off the lot. I still haven't heard anything about the replacement of the cracked and marred windshield that they said they would replace before I took possession of the truck, which is still cracked and marred causing a safety hazard. There were more people in that freakin’ building at this dealer than lived in the village of King Salmon, AK (where I moved from). There is all too much “business” going on, so you will be surely dupped and cajoled into making a deal there. It just seems to me that there are too many shenanigans going on than an actual opportunity to purchase a quality vehicle when you need it. Avoid this dealer at all costs!!! Pay an extra $1000 to go to a better dealer in Amarillo or Albuquerque. More
