I called them up and asked them if I could put down a deposit over the phone to make sure it did not get away. I had some circumstances that made it hard for my wife to get in to see the car, so after I officially gave them a deposit on the car, they let me take it home overnight so that she could see it and I could come back and close the deal the next day. I came back and we got everything wrapped up within a couple of hours. If I was wavering at all or wanted to negotiate more, the deal might have felt a little high pressure, but I wanted to get it done, so it just felt easy. Also, I am not one for warranties, but they offer a $0 deductible Toyota warranty good at any Toyota dealership that was attractive and seems comprehensive. It could still turn out to be a waste of money, but seemed like a good deal at the time. More

Other dealerships should learn from this that it's all about making the experience as professionally accommodating and painless for the end customer and hey, a sense of humor can go a long way in making the car buying experience much more pleasurable than many have experienced in the past. The entire process was very done very quickly and as I was going to leave, it was detected that the battery seemed somewhat weak.
