Bought a 2017 Nissan Frontier from Marin Acura and Edmond. The process was really smooth, he drove the car all the way into SF so I could test drive, then drove it to me again later that day to comple Edmond. Safety during the pandemic? From the moment I walked onto the lot, I NEVER observed anyone without a mask and social distancing was consistent. When I needed to use the rest room, there was an employee onto the lot, I NEVER observed anyone without a mask and social distancing was consistent. When I needed to use the rest room, there was an employee inside thoroughly cleaning the facility before I entered. While I was sitting with Edmond at his desk, I also observed employees cleaning and wiping down common areas. I felt my safety was a high priority!!! Edmond approaches his job with integrity and respect for the customer. He is straight forward and consciously direct without being rude or condescending. He's a nice guy. We negotiated many aspects of the vehicle prior to reaching our agreement. I never felt manipulated. l felt like he was actively listening to my exact needs. He helped guide me to the best vehicle for the best price that fit my needs. Consider yourself lucky if you get the opportunity to work with him. Daniel was the bonus! Because of my scheduling conflicts, I had to cancel my original appointment with Edmond, and he was kind enough to meet me on his day off. Did I mention that Edmond is a nice guy! So Daniel took care of me until Edmond could make his way back to Marin Acura on his day off! Daniel greeted me and quickly establish professional rapport like we were old friends. He has a wealth of knowledge and understands the vehicles from front to back. Daniel walked with me around the lot while giving me a crash course about the strengths and weaknesses of the RDX. He took me on two test drives and while both cars had the same RDX badge, he highlighted the distinct differences. Again, consider yourself fortunate if you get to experience a test drive with Daniel. Jean-Pierre is solid gold. I'm 60 years young and I have purchased more than a few cars. The finance guys has historically been the notorious snake oil salesman in my life experience. No such thing here! This guy went line by line and was completely transparent about each and every line item. Bottom line, cars have become pretty expensive items over my short life time. Marin Acura gets it! From top to bottom, they understand that each person that walks through their doors are facing one of life’s biggest decisions. I felt that even though they sale cars every year to thousands of different people, for that three to four hours it took for me to complete the process, I was the most important person in the room! More
