Service for transmission of my 2009 Toyota Highlander. I had my Highlander towed to Toyota of Tampa Bay after being told by a different shop (Honest-1) that I'd need a rebuild of my existing transmission. I had my Highlander towed to Toyota of Tampa Bay after being told by a different shop (Honest-1) that I'd need a rebuild of my existing transmission. Elga was my service manager at Toyota of Tampa Bay. The mechanic who worked on my Highlander performed his own evaluation. Instead of a rebuild or new transmission, my existing transmission was cleaned, new seals and gaskets installed, and a stripped overflow plug and a sensor were installed. The service I received was exceptional, and my cost was much less than I expected based on the estimate I received at Honest-1. I also looked at new cars today and let me tell you Mark did an amazing job, let me test drive a couple vehicles to see my options and differences, which is rare in a dealership. Most dealers just want my money but today was a fantastic experience. I will be getting my brand new toyota camry there. More
