⭐ 1-STAR REVIEW — VERY DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE WITH DAVID SCOTT LEE BUICK GMC I am extremely disappointed with my experience with David Scott Lee Buick GMC, particularly with Jeff and the way my veh DAVID SCOTT LEE BUICK GMC I am extremely disappointed with my experience with David Scott Lee Buick GMC, particularly with Jeff and the way my vehicle purchase and financing process was handled. I was genuinely interested in purchasing a vehicle from this dealership. I was not wasting anyone’s time. I was ready and willing to purchase the vehicle, and I was even prepared to put 50% of the purchase price down. Despite that substantial commitment, I did not feel that I was treated like a serious customer. I repeatedly explained that I DO NOT HAVE A VEHICLE OR TRANSPORTATION. I have told this dealership countless times that I do not currently have a vehicle or a reliable way to get to the dealership. They knew this. Yet they continued contacting me about purchasing a vehicle, encouraging me to move forward, and asking me to proceed — only to then make my inability to physically appear at the dealership part of the problem. That is extremely frustrating. If you know a customer does not have transportation, don’t repeatedly pursue their business and then turn around and blame that customer for not being physically present. There was plenty of time to arrange for me to see and test-drive the vehicle and to properly communicate with me about the transaction. Instead, I was left waiting and repeatedly trying to get answers. What made matters worse was being told, essentially, that because I wasn’t physically at the dealership, customers who were there in person were being prioritized ahead of me. If that is how customers without transportation are going to be treated, then the dealership should be honest about that from the beginning. I was willing to put 50% DOWN on the vehicle. I was prepared to make a significant financial commitment. Yet somehow my business was still treated as though it was less important simply because I couldn’t walk through the dealership’s front door. The communication was also extremely frustrating. During one of my conversations with Jeff, he sarcastically told me: “Rome wasn’t built in a day.” Given everything that had already happened and the amount of time I had already spent trying to get this transaction handled, I did not find that comment professional or appropriate. I wasn’t asking for something unreasonable. I was trying to purchase a vehicle and wanted a clear understanding of when my transaction would actually be handled. Instead, I felt like I was continually being delayed, given explanations, and then expected to simply keep waiting. My credit information is another major concern. I provided sensitive financial and credit information in good faith because I was genuinely attempting to purchase a vehicle. I am extremely concerned about how my credit information was handled during this process and about any additional credit activity or inquiries associated with my application. I will be monitoring my credit reports and keeping documentation of what occurred. When someone gives a dealership their financial information, that information should be handled carefully and professionally. I also document my business communications, including telephone conversations. I have retained records of my communications concerning this transaction and can provide supporting documentation where appropriate. The biggest issue is that I was READY TO BUY. I wasn’t asking them to give me a vehicle. I wasn’t asking them to do something unreasonable. I was willing to put 50% down. I repeatedly explained my transportation situation. I continued communicating with them. I was trying to complete a legitimate vehicle purchase. And yet I was left feeling as though I was being strung along rather than genuinely assisted. The combination of the repeated delays, the emphasis on in-person customers, the continued contact about purchasing the vehicle despite knowing I had no transportation, and the sarcastic response when I asked the process. I want to clarify my previous review because I don’t want my dissatisfaction with the dealership to unfairly reflect on my salesman, Eli Fayne. Eli was actually the best part of my experience. He treated me my dissatisfaction with the dealership to unfairly reflect on my salesman, Eli Fayne. Eli was actually the best part of my experience. He treated me with respect, worked with me on the truck, and continued trying to help me even after the sale when apparently dealership policy required him to step back. My frustration is with how things were handled by the dealership after the sale. I was given the runaround over my second key and had difficulty getting straight answers or finding someone willing to take responsibility for resolving the issue. I was also specifically told during the financing process that because of the deal I received, I was required to keep the GM Financial loan for four payments before refinancing. I made it clear at the time that I intended to refinance through my credit union because they had already offered me a substantially better interest rate. I was led to believe that making those four payments was a requirement of my deal. After reviewing my contract and speaking directly with management, I learned that there was no such requirement in my contract preventing me from refinancing sooner. That was extremely frustrating, especially because I relied on the information I was given while making a major financial decision. Those issues are the reason for my dissatisfaction with the dealership. They are not a reflection of Eli. Based on my personal dealings with him, Eli did his job and did it well. He was the person I felt was actually trying to help me, and I would recommend him as a salesman. I believe in giving credit where it’s due, and Eli deserves that credit. My concerns with the dealership and its handling of my purchase still stand, but I don’t believe Eli should take the blame for decisions or information that were outside of his control. More

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at David Scott Lee Buick GMC in Crestview. One of my biggest issues has been the handling of the second key for my truck. I was given information about the Scott Lee Buick GMC in Crestview. One of my biggest issues has been the handling of the second key for my truck. I was given information about the transfer of that key that turned out not to be true. Instead of someone simply taking responsibility and resolving the issue, I’ve gotten the runaround from different associates, with each person seemingly trying to pass the responsibility on to someone else. Mistakes and delays can happen. What I have a problem with is being told things that aren’t true and then having to chase multiple people just to get a straight answer about something that should have been handled as part of the sale. Once a dealership has your money and the paperwork is signed, you shouldn’t have to fight to get people to follow through on what you were told. Good customer service isn’t just about making the sale—it’s about taking care of the customer afterward and owning the situation when something goes wrong. Based on my experience, the lack of accountability, poor communication, and dishonesty surrounding my second key have left me extremely dissatisfied with David Scott Lee Buick GMC. More
