My wife and I had an extremely frustrating experience with this dealership, centered around clear misinformation and a total lack of accountability afterward. Our Salesman and the representative of the Finance Department – told us several times that once they made the November 2025 payment on our existing loan, we would owe nothing further and the lease return would be fully handled. I even pointed out that our loan showed an April 2026 maturity date, and they still reassured us that the November payment would be the final payment. We trusted their representations (our mistake) and put $5,000 down to move forward. After the return, we learned that despite their assurances, we actually still owed four more payments. The explanation from management completely ignored the verbal assurances we were given — assurances that influenced our decision. Instead of acknowledging the mistake, they hid behind the paperwork and offered no solution. We’re now stuck paying for a car we no longer possess. This was misleading, unprofessional, and a major breach of trust. This experience has placed us in a difficult financial situation and has seriously damaged our trust in this dealership. Transparency and accuracy should be non-negotiable in any automotive transaction, and unfortunately, that was not our experience here. More

Like all car dealerships, Volkswagen of Huntington is comprised of the showroom and the service shop. Let's start with the showroom. All of the sales team is pleasant to deal with and will spend as much time as you want in order to understand all of the features of the cars. I have worked with the same salesman, Eli Polanco, since I started buying Volkswagens 10 years ago. If you choose to wait in the waiting area while your car is being worked on, they have very comfortable seating to read or watch tv, and if you need to work on your laptop they have multiple tables large enough to spread out your stuff so you can spend your time getting work done. The restrooms are super clean and there are enough varieties of snacks in case you're hungry. When you bring your car into the shop for service, you will probably notice that the shop is very large and extremely well lit as compared to most shops which are not well lit and the technicians work in very close quarters. The shop is not only heated in the winter time but air conditioned in the summer making it even more desirable to work as a technician in that environment. Today's cars are far more complex than those of just 10 years ago. As an authorized Volkswagen dealership, they have access to specialized equipment and tools for your Volkswagen as well as support from the factory when necessary. Your corner garage or independent shop simply cannot compete with the highly specialized equipment that a dealership has in addition to training specifically on Volkswagens. My service advisor, Jose Velazquez, has taken care of my cars for 10 years. If something needs service or repair that's not part of the routine maintenance he explains to me exactly what needs to be done and why it needs to be done so that when you leave you're not surprised that something should have been addressed and wasn't. Give Volkswagen of Huntington an opportunity to demonstrate how knowledgeable they are about the cars that they sell and how well equipped they are to service them. More
