Trying to Commit Fraud I had a major issue with my 2015 Ford escape with less than 100k on the clock. Well, I thought it was a major issue after taking it to Parks Ford. My I had a major issue with my 2015 Ford escape with less than 100k on the clock. Well, I thought it was a major issue after taking it to Parks Ford. My car was not running well so I took it to Parks to get diagnosed. A few days later they told me I had a blown head gasket and they would not repair it. If I wanted to fix the car I'd need a whole new engine costing about 10K (almost what the car is worth in perfect working order). I was also informed that my extended warranty had expired less than 2 weeks earlier, so I was sunk. After being told that I could trade in my escape for 4500$ and they would put me in a new car I thought I would get a second opinion from an independent Mechanic I did and 500$ later my car was running great with no issues. My second opinion looked at the paperwork and found that Parks had scoped and pulled the spark plugs on cylinders 1 4 and 6 on my 4cyl escape! How is that possible? I was also informed with pictures that it didn't look like even the dust on the top of my engine had been disturbed, indicating that the diagonals of my car had never even been done and that the only error code my car had was a misfire code. No coolant in the engine block no blow head gasket no need for a new car! So I called Ellis Adams to discuss the issues. In short, I was told that I wasn't charged enough to diagnose my car at Parks that yeah the paperwork was wrong but that the diagnoses were correct and that my car would break down again in a month and call him back then. Customer service at its best. Well, its been over a month I've called and have not been put back in contact with Mr. Adams and all I can think is they tried to fraudulently get me to trade in my car and buy a new one. I mean just saying "sorry we made a mistake let me check your car again!" or "I'll refund your 160$ diagnostic fee because it was done (or not done at all) incorrectly!" But they insisted, that I was wrong and that although they had no documentation that the diagnosis had been done it was done correctly and I needed to pay 10,000$ or trade in my car for 4500$ to have a working vehicle. Ford Regional management was worthless, Parks Ford was worthless, I even flew out to Utah to talk with the dealership I bought the car from and they were worthless. Overall that was the first new car purchase of my life I was excited to get a Ford and now I'm going Toyota. More

BREAK FLUID WAS CONTAMINATED DURING FLUSH !! (Mustang 2016) In August of 2018, Parks performed a break flush when I complained about the break pedal being too hard. The issue was not fixed 100%. (Mustang 2016) In August of 2018, Parks performed a break flush when I complained about the break pedal being too hard. The issue was not fixed 100%. I went back in April 2019 for a HUB replacement and only mentioned to someone, the issue was not resolved. They said to get new break pads. A month later In May 2019, Tires Plus discovered a black substance in the reservoir and referred me to another Ford Dealer in Dade City. They confirmed the break fluid had been contaminated with an unknown BLACK substance. After talking to their Manager and their Foreman, they could not find anything mechanically wrong with the car that they could attribute it to. In June 16th, I emailed a letter to Ellis Adams, service manager, with 11 documents, including pictures, reports from Ford and Tires Plus, repair cost ($956) and a letter asking to reimburse me for the repair. Ellis indicated they were not responsible for this. He claims too much time elapsed and pointed the finger at someone else. You can check the vin# and see that every repair has been done at Parks Ford. When I insisted in talking to the GM and escalating it with leaving voicemails at Mr Terry Mullane, GM, they stopped all communications. I called Ford, Corporation, they did a 3 way call with me and their Foreman, again, denying any involvement. He asked me to bring in the reservoir to send it to the lab for analyzing the substance. I personally brought it in and gave it to Ellis in or around October. Again, they stopped all communications. 6 months since my first attempt. I have pictures and invoices to show More

The Truck had been in their shop in late August prior to repair the Timing chain tensioners. Just 5 weeks later it needed Timing chain repair yet again. Once again we stressed that we relied on the vehicle to transport a mobility device and asked for a workable timeline. in any event, the requested day and time for pick up were not met, causing us difficulty in arranging an airport pick up. Six days after pickup, my son noticed scratches on the drivers side front fender and hood. This was brought to The Service managers attention. He took pictures and advised he would consult with his Body shop. We haven't heard a word back since despite calling and requesting a call back. DONE WITH FORD> More

He was extremely rude and his answers were extremely odd any one knows both co signer and purchaser names appear on title and regrestation .. But for tag reason the car should be registered person driving car.. Both names on tile only one register driver... Overpayment of tag... Wrong name for registered driver.. Extremely rude and hopefully his boss can read this... More

However, now that my vehicle has a recall due to an issue with the seat belts, I'm surprised at the lack of service and inconvenience. I work crazy hours 7-days a week and use my vehicle to visit clients 30-40 miles away. It baffles me that the dealership is not approving loaner cars while my car is being serviced. I contacted the service/maintenance director via email to see if there was any way that this can be changed. While he did offer some accommodations ($36 a day for a rental, local shuttle or "less than 2 hour service" on my vehicle) I simply don't have the time to wait two hours for this service. I could get a call in to work/see a client at any moment. I also don't believe I should have to pay for a rental for a recall service. I am just disappointed with this service at the moment, mainly because I thought highly of dealership because I really did have a great experience purchasing my vehicle. More

Rip Off Central, Who's Writing These Reviews? In my opinion somebody is posting all these good reviews and never dealt with this dealership. Trust me, if you do get stuck going there keep one eye In my opinion somebody is posting all these good reviews and never dealt with this dealership. Trust me, if you do get stuck going there keep one eye on your wallet at all times. Their nicely dressed, smooth talking people are nothing more than your typical "used car" people looking to fleece you. Get this one, they put a new clutch in my car under warranty. Transmission fails, but the warranty won't cover it because it's an after market clutch they installed. They disassemble the transmission to find out the problem then want $5,300 to replace it. BTW I bought the tranny for $600.00 and put it in myself. I guess they wanted $4,700 for the ten hours of labor it took me to do it. Also, they charged me over $600.00 to tear the car apart. It ran when I brought it in and I had to have it towed out. Thanks Parks Ford for making me realize why I bought my one and only Ford and will go back to General Motors who understand what customer service really means. More

Went for an Oil Change and got a wrecked Truck Took my F350 Dually in pristine condition to Parks Ford of Wesley Chapel for an oil change and sun visor replacement and ended up with a wrecked truck Took my F350 Dually in pristine condition to Parks Ford of Wesley Chapel for an oil change and sun visor replacement and ended up with a wrecked truck. Not only was I out a truck but also had to cancel some vacation plans, because I was unable to to pull my RV. The service manager offered an insulting $250.00, a not comparable rental car, and a not very heartfelt “I am Sorry.” They felt like they were doing me a favor, by fixing my truck. Stay away from Parks Ford of Wesley Chapel this was their 3rd strike with me. More
