We were leaving for Florida on the 31st.
On the 30th, I came into Peoria for a haircut. As I was headed home to load the car, a new light came up on the dash—problem with the fuel emissions
On the 30th, I came into Peoria for a haircut. As I was headed home to load the car, a new light came up on the dash—problem with the fuel emissions system. Since I was close to Honda, I ran by the service department. The service foreman came out and ran diagnostics. He determined that we probably had a bad fuel injector. Naturally, the service department was extremely busy on both the 30th and 31st, and was closing early on the 31st. After verifying they had the parts needed, Darrin Reardon said to leave the car, and he would get it taken care of the next day. I know he doesn’t normally take on jobs, and an extremely grateful for him going above and beyond to get us on the road as quickly as possible. Emmalyn Garland was also very helpful. We have been loyal Honda customers for many years, but this cemented the deal. We are very grateful this occurred when it did, and we could work with our local dealership. Our gratitude to all involved, and especially Darrin.
